Good to read if you want to read.
Honestly, Telling my choice of book which I prefer to read about life philosophy is quite different from this book.My expectation from this book was more than only reading. Undoubtedly, Well written book. But the ideas inside the book is all felt me nothing interesting. There are numbers of affirmations that is mentioned to help you to overcome from despair, and also few yoga methods that is helpful for praticener which helpful in physical exercises. Nothing more than that.

If one wonders why we suffer, this is the book.
This book talks of suffering/ bad situation / sad experience and happiness/joy/ peace as necessary to our lives. They are two different faces of the same coin. Without suffering or pain we do not appreciate or recognise what is peace or joy: if we are constantly in peace or joy, we would not have been able to distinguish it from pain or sadness or suffering; hence suffering is a sort of necessity . A flower cannot grow in a marble but requires murky soil (here flower, marble and murky soil are allegorical). It recommends embracing and acknowledging that there is pain or suffering in us and transform it into a joyful one just as a lotus emerge from a murky soil. There are ways described to tackle pain or sufferings in the positive light.
