Hello, All sizes on the image are correct.

Q: Whats the width of the end of the fitting. the bit that goes in the door ie opposite end to striker.

I can't measure it as it's in the door. However, the advertised product dimensions, 75mm x 22mm x 17mm suggest that the width you are after could be 17 mm, although only the length, 75mm, of the bit that goes into the door is shown on the diagram. The height would then be 22mm. I hope this helps, but you can always use a chisel to widen the slot if necessary.
