1MB Memory Card for PS1 Game Console Fast Read Write, Lightweight ABS Material Game Saving Card Compatible with PS1 Classic Game Systems

I used this for my PS2. I recently bought Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9. I did test saves, and they work flawlessly. I imagine these to work very well on actual PS1 consoles. I want to point out, it’s claimed as “1 Mega”, I formatted on PS2, I was given access to 122KB. According to FF8, it gives me access to 15 blocks of storage. If you play on PS2 and run out of space, just transfer to your PS2 mem, and it’s all good. Works good for transferring. Was happy with this purchase. After one save I was down to 114KB, so I’m assuming each block is 8KB. Either way, works great. I recommend. I saw mixed reviews, but as a USA buyer based in Southern California, works great. Make sure you test a save and see for yourself before returning.

I'm only here to protect everyone from this product. On multiple occasions this memory card has forced a reformat on itself forcing me to reformat and lose all game saves. I have lost about 100 hours of gameplay, saves and unlocks. This actually happened during a streaming session live in between saves. Stick to Sony brand around $20.
