Is the headphone jack on this for monitoring your inputs, or does your PC audio come through it aswell?

Hi, You can monitor your inputs and listen to playback from your computer simultaneously, which allows you to create overdubs with next to zero latency. You can either choose to monitor the inputs using the Direct Monitor switch, or you can use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW. If using the Direct Monitor feature the input signal will be passed directly to the line and headphone outputs, whereas if you use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW, you will be hearing the audio you're recording back from your DAW. Does the XLR input only record audio to the left side?

Hi, When recording a single microphone, you should ensure that you create a mono audio track in your DAW instead of a stereo audio track. When you record onto a mono audio track, the output from that track will be heard on both sides of your headphones or speakers (ensuring the output is set to stereo), however, if you record onto a stereo track, the audio will just be recorded onto the left side of a stereo file and you will ony hear it on the left of your headphones/speakers. Great Value does the job, software plugins require lots of account creation, time consuming.

Works well with Apple Silicon on the MAC. I am giving it Five Stars but the software redemption process is tedius and irritating. You have to create an account for every plugin as they are all provided by seperate companies. I am grateful that you get so much for the price. I tried the Mini Fuse before this one and it was garbage, clipped terribly and just cut out and was crackly. For $150 or $260 for the studio version the Scarlett Solo is a good unit. I am glad I dont feel the need to jump up to more expensive units like Universal Audio.

Fantastic Starting Setup

After doing some research and listening to advice from friends, I decided on this kit for the start of my voice acting. This kit is very user friendly and simple to pick up on with great quality! It helped a lot to just get the interface, headset, and mic in one package rather than doing even more research and trying to figure out which of each to get separate. Looking forward to getting more out of this kit before eventually upgrading.

Great interface and mic, Headset though...

I've had this set for about 4-5 months now, its been great, I love just about everything about it.My only issue is the headset wire was constantly tangled up and when I would untangled it would twist back to how it was. It has been very annoying and while trying to untangle it the wire snapped from the amount of times I've had to do it. So now the headset is completely useless and I am pretty annoyed about it. If you get this I would just set the headset to the side and use a better studio headphones, they were also pretty uncomfortable, and I would have to take them off constantly to relieve pain on my ears.
