Heed the other one star reviews. I dont expect a premium product when I buy an Amazon basics item, but I expect it to work. This one doesn't.1. It heats unevenly. Only the front part gets hot enough for browning.2. It leaks and spills all over the counter, see other pictures. Even when you are super careful not to add too much batter. It does not even out the batter well so some areas are lean, while it spills out others.3. The waffles are super thin, like a pancake with some texture.4. It is extremely difficult to clean. Batter gets everywhere and you need several items to clean it thoroughly.I recommend another product. I will be returning this.

I have owned devices like this before, but this one has some flaws that concern me. It is still usable, however here are the concerns I have after using for several days on several different meals.1. The handle gets really hot. Even after a single serving is cooked. I tried to cook several chicken thighs, and after the second one the handle was so hot that I got a minor burn just trying to release the clip and open the grill.2. There is no grease drain and you must clean with a paper towel after every turn cooking. I tried to make 2 hamburgers, they did not fit on at the same time so I had to cook them one at a time. After each cooking I had to clean it with quite a bit of paper towels. after each cooking.3. It tends to overcook meats, like chicken thighs and hamburgers. The timer seems to stop cooking around the 200 F temperature mark. I used a meat thermometer to check, and found in general the meats cooked on the grill were overly dry and some times burns the tops.I haven't tried the grilled cheese sandwich maker or the waffle plates yet.Overall it looks nice, but it emits a lot of steam when cooking and heats up a lot and so far has tended to slightly overcook much of the food I've tried.

Makes perfect waffles. Just the right size for storage. Very easy to use waffle maker.
