I used these misters in two very different applications, in the first greenhouse they sat straight above the plant, (about 12"), worked perfectly. in the second they were much higher (between 6' and 8') and they produced too narrow of a spray pattern.I would recommend them in a heartbeat if you are misting at close range for plants but they are too fine and directed for anything higher.

These are great! Installing wasn't too hard. They were a life saver after hurricane Beryl when we had no power for days. They even helped keep the flies and mosquitoes away! This allowed us to stay cool and comfortable after the storm. The only downside is after running them for about an hour, the entire patio area was soaked! Maybe that's normal but I was just thinking it would be a mist the entire time but everything, including food got wet. But they are nice and kept everyone cool which was a blessing.

Works really well. We used for our patio and found that it soaks the patio pretty good. Will re-hang higher on just the outside edge of the patio and see if that works.
