Video said "water resistant". I suppose that means if you are camping in a downpour it is not water proof and you may get wet?

The Gazelle and similar tents like it are usually well made and sealed seams. HOWEVER I ALWAYS as in ALWAYS spray or paint on sealant when tent is first used and set up when new and again every year first time used. Not only is it prudent and helps maintain the tent but doing so allows me to inspect all seams especially roof and floor where floor and wall meets. I once could not understand how I had a puddle in middle of a 10x10 foot straight wall tent when the following year when I set it up to apply sealant I discovered on a back door area where floor and wall seamed together was a failed stitching about 6 inches long though some was caught some was not and it had escaped my notice for two years. It was a mild but continious down pour and a sleeping bag with waterproofed mat had allowed the bit of water to stream around it to the center of the floor along with incline slightly as it was totally strange. Because the stitching was just enough the actual fail wasn't easy to spot. Of course when I had the tent empty and set up for it's annual sealant routine AHHH that explained it. Seller offered me a 25 dollar discount on a new tent. I passed but it is my favorite tent ever and this style here is closet second. And I have 3 other fav's too. WIndows on all four sizes of a tent are a MUST. I am an older female who camps alone as hubby of 49 years is not into it. SO a tent that is easy to set up is nice and due to some experiences over the years the wonderful pack tents with rainflys often hide the ability to see out if need be. So I do think these tents are over priced right now. Covid maybe caused that and supply is down while demand seems to be higher. Anyway I have the competitors screen house about the same size and it too is well made but being a screen house even with the side walls attached is not going to be water proof. Water resistant is just a save for these sellers who know someone somewhere is going to find fault or a flaw that causes a leak or such. So in a gail definitely do not point the entrance towards the wind but away from it and not towards the lake that might also spray waves by buckets into the tent if it opens onto it just feet away during a wind and rain storm. You know a lot of us long term tent campers even this lady in her 70's knows the ropes from experience and common sense goes a long ways to understanding water resistant and proof and how to improve your odds. There are all kinds of seam sealers available. Actually quite often the spray on which is so easy to do for water proofing fabric is all it takes to reinforce but if you really are worried or need extra protection at roof seams or floor seams then by all means consider the paint on seam sealants. I do not recommend tape as it can all too easily fail in high tempts or if the fabric is soiled or has any residue on it. But gazzella tape is pretty good and it's saved me over the years a number of times. When I had no way to repair by sewing machine the faulty stitching on my favorite straight wall tent tape is what I turned to. So far so good but the frame a coleman canopy weighs 50 pounds and the tent another 20 and I can set up by my self and all but unless some guest camper joins me I usually stay with smaller and easier to handle tents. Since I have many to choose from the weather and conditions of where I intend to camp play a big roll in which tent to choose from. This style is great but YOU need a spot that can accomodate the LENGTH of the bundled up tent and case. IT IS well over six feet. Even the coleman is only 50" about. So that for me is the number one negative for this tent. The screen house version is not as long. I haven't figured out why that's the way it is but my screen is a different brand.

How difficult is it to collapse and put back in the bag?

I am 5' 4" and 63 years old. I have not had any problems setting up, taking down, and putting it back in the bag unless my cat decides she is going to sleep on it during the process.

Is this a 4-season tent?

Even though it isn't insulated, it keeps whatever temperature pretty well. I had to open all the windows and doors to cool it down until I started my little battery operated A/C unit and then it stayed comfortable in 100 degree weather. It stayed warm all night with the windows and doors closed. I am going to invest in a better cooling unit. I am sure my heating unit will keep the tent warm when the weather turns colder.

What is the difference between this and model gt401ss?

This model offers a thicker flooring, it is different colors than regular T4, with better tent spikes. Later I bought a floor tarp $10, and better spikes $20
