it's awesome. Totally tucked me in
This fit as expected based on the reviews I read before ordering. I'd normally wear a 36 or 38, but ordered a 40 and it fit perfectly, other than the cup...which WAS a D and fit for a D, but the top piece of fabric was a little tight and doesn't stretch. For someone with a little bit bigger bustline, it'd cut into the breast skin a little at the top.As far as the tummy support...it's awesome. Totally tucked me in. I didn't look cute getting into it, but once it was on it was actually pretty vintage-y sexy. I rated this as 'Somewhat small' to let buyers know you should order 1-2 sizes bigger and it will still hold you in! Hope this helps.

Love it! A few things to know about sizing...
I have been eyeing this Rago slip as early as my first peek at the Sears catalog as a young girl. I finally bought one! It's mine!First off--this thing is incredibly powerful at smoothing lumps and bumps!! Even back rolls! There is a reason Rago has existed and has a credible reputation.Secondly --the size I ordered wasn't right for me since I was looking for a daily power slip under my work clothes. I am a 40DDD, 32 waist, 48 hip, thick thighs. I was going to order the 42DD (smaller cup to help with the lift) but chose the 44DD. While it definitely fit, it was a chore to squeeze into and not something I'm willing or able to do everyday. I'm used to corsets and have worn medical Rx compression garments for nearly two decades. This was like putting them all on at once! I am going to exchange this one for a 48DD for being able to save myself the wrestling match of the century putting the shaper on.Lastly --this is an absolutely gorgeous garment. I chose the Mocha color. It's superior quality and classically sensual. The fabric is also not scratchy like many garments of this material can be. The bra straps are sturdy satin that are adjustable but do not have any give (which is important in a control bra). You'll be happy with choosing this over all the others on the market if you are aiming for serious control in your undergarments that are pleasing to the eye.Tip: order by the largest part or your core to get the easiest fit (while still doing a fine smoothing job). You'll still need 5 to 10 mins to put it on, and a cocktail afterwards to relax but you will be one sassy lass in this slip!

Plastic
This is a great product, except for one very important thing. The garter clips are made of plastic and they really don't hold the stockings. But I love the fit and the look.

Cups too big
We got two of these in what should be our sizes for a cosplay event, the cups seemed to be too large for me which is understandable but also too large for my SO and she has a solid C almost D cup as per a professional bra fitting. It's a shame they were very well made and what was were looking for but we had to return them.

Vintage shape wear for modern times
A fantastic girdle for wearing vintage clothing, a must really. A generous amount of stretch to get it on (and a wiggle to get it up) but a truly extra firm hold. Reading some of the reviews might put you off if you’re unaware of what this is. This isn’t like your typical modern full body shaper, this is a completely vintage silhouette. Girdles do not accentuate your waist or lift your bottom they smooth you out all over for a straight look which was the goal way back when. If you’re wanting a nipped waist a cincher or corset is probably your best bet. Also the cups are cone shaped not the smooth rounded shape. I bought a 36C going slightly larger than my 34” waist and it still goes over my 44” hips and bottom. The fit is tight and very smoothing but not uncomfortable, the material is breath able. Overall very happy with my purchase and definitely want another or other shapers from Rago.

Great shaping!
I was prepared to not like this because Amazon ordering is unpredictable but I needed something to smooth down bulging tummy rolls and saddlebags to fit into a tight pencil skirt plus something vintage with garter straps. This was all I could find on short notice and I am so glad I took the risk. It fits exactly as expected. I am taller at 5'9" so the chest does sit lower because of my long torso but I expected that. But it slims EVERYTHING I needed! It's sturdy without being stiff. I love the bit of pointed cups which is very era appropriate as well. I like it so much I am gonna buy another in the sexy red/black as well!

Look, I'm a sausage.
For reference, I'm b: 35.5" (32D), w: 26.5/27", h: 35.5/36". They don't make 32s (why not?) but people said they run VERY small. Not true. I think people are just unaccustomed to wearing anything remotely snug. The 34 was definitely a 34. But the problem is that there's almost no inward curve at the waist. It's cut more or less straight up and down. So if you start out with a relatively small waist, instead of emphasizing that feature, it just squeezes above and below, making you less curvy. Not good. The bra is the best part. Comfortable, retro-looking, and only slightly big. The rest of it is horribly uncomfortable. Why people think this is high quality, I don't know, because the interior is terribly itchy/scratchy/rough, and the bottom of the leg grips very tightly (beyond the sticky gripper), creating bulges on less-than-skinny legs. If this were smoother, it would be far more comfortable, but I'd still look like a sausage with boobs. Sent it back with the "convenient" pay-for-the-postage-yourself label.
