This iron irons and means business!
The more steam holes on an iron's plate the better the results. This is why I like this iron! For the price this iron produces like a professional grade iron. It is slightly heavier than my last iron, but it irons wrinkles out with little pressure. Easy water fill on a huge tank. If I had to make a con remark it is selecting the fabric level. This iron has push button levels so if I over shoot my desired level I must start at the beginning. I'm being picky and lazy here! I recommend highly this HB iron.

Amazing iron, incredible price!
I am your typical "bro" who never truly learned how to iron and always rely on others around me if and when I need ironing. I bought this iron for my apartment because of the solid reviews and affordable price and love it. I never thought it would be possible for me to be truly impressed by an iron, but this thing is impressive. Digital display with fabric specific settings is so easy a caveman could use it (thanks Geico) and the iron heats up almost immediately and works effortlessly. I now iron like a pro and would recommend this product to anyone.

This iron presses and steams nicely. It is a heavy iron
This new iron I paid $34.00 for was delivered to me on June 25. It has worked great. Turns right on, heats nicely, irons nicely. On September 2, it would not turn on. I tried several outlets in my home, did everything I could to get it to work. The iron had not been moved; nothing had changed. Now Amazon says I am not eligible to return the item and receive a refund. What does one do in this case? I have not had to return a small appliance to Amazon for this reason. I would no longer recommend purchasing this iron.

Great While It Lasted
I loved this iron! I got it in August 2016. It's now June 2017. I walked into my sewing room this morning to the smell of "ozone". Terrifying in a room with thousands of dollars of sewing machines. Turns out, the iron burned out sometime in the last 15 hours. Of course, I'm in the middle of a project where pressing is more important than anything else.I still give this iron good ratings. It's a work-horse, and the burn-out probably had more to do with my electrical system than the iron.I plan to order another one.

For me this iron's cons outweigh the pros.
I have been using this iron for at least an hour and more every day for over a week and while it does the job I have found it to be rather uncomfortable to use. Pros: it heats quickly and the temperatures seem to be accurate for each type of fabric, the steam is powerful and doesn't drip (so far), the water tank is good sized so you don't have to fill it that often, the cord is long and stays out of the way. Now, the Cons: It is fairly heavy and being older with arthritis I find it awkward to lift and a bit wearing to use for too long, The sole plate does not slide smoothly. Using a spray helps but it still takes some effort to slide it along. The temperature setting area is very difficult to read as the fabric types are printed inside a plastic bubble and again outside so when the fabric setting light is on (different colors) it makes the words overlap each other to the point it is difficult to see which setting the little dot is on. Also, the setting button is small and awkward to push in. It feels like a toggle switch under a rubbery casing, not friendly to arthritic fingers. So, while it does do the job it was meant for it makes ironing more of a chore than I like. I am in the process of buying a different iron and I will keep this one for a spare.

Love this great iron !
Love, love, love this iron ! It is heavy (not lightweight) , works beautifully. I get awesome steam, and spray, and has easy to use adjustment for different fabrics. Turns off by itself if I leave it too log. Glides beautifully. Easy to see clear well for water, so you know when to add more water. Good price.

Great Iron! And, For Starters, It's The Watts!
Clearly the best iron you can get these days, especially at this price. Finally an iron that goes beyond the Kenner Easy Bake Oven!I'm a old timey iron user - back from the days when there were still linen sheets and pillow cases. I have not in the past 25 years, until now, found an iron I consider good for anything beyond crinoline panties. It's the watts! You need at least 1600 watts to actually iron smooth, things like cotton sheets and pillow cases, flannel shirts, and other heavy non-synthetic stuff. Those 1200 watt irons just don't get hot enough, and lose what heat they create too fast as you move the iron around onto yet non-ironed areas. The ones I've owned in recent years also drip all over the place and the burst o' steam never worked - an empty promise This one's burst o' steam really works - even repeatedly. In addition, it has a non-stick soleplate (why anyone would pay double the price for an iron without that [Rowenta] is beyond me); a burst o' steam that really works, and so far (10 uses) doesn't leak water all over the place. The heat controls on the top instead of the rotary dial where your hand keeps moving it around is primo. And btw, the lower temp settings are very accurate as well. I can iron "delicate" stuff without overheating or the iron getting too cool. Maintains temps accurately. For serious ironing, featherweight just means double the work - this iron has some weight.
