There is very little smell. It has a slightly chalky taste if it dissolves in your mouth due to you drinking or eating too soon.

How long does it take to dry?

It only took it about 30 min. for mine to dry.

How long does it stay in for

I have had some stay in for over 3 months with normal eating. But if you can't afford a dentist for a while its best to keep replacing. I didn't have any lose fillings or crowns just that my teeth are bad. And i would take some advil and let the pain go away then apply it b4 i go to bed. I always keep some in the house just in case.
