This Knife is really good you have a nice ferm grip on it. You can learn easily on this knife I had learn a y2k on this knife and I am really happy that I bought this product. If I were you I would purchace this item if you want to have a starter knife.

Came fast but the trainer is dirty. Needs to be washed and then it’ll be alright but lost a star for the sort of grime.

UPDATE: Provider made right but had to follow up with them to do so. Only true complaint would be sharp edges on handle. Would have been a 4 star if I didn't have to follow up with provider to get the replacement. Previously: Pin fell out between the handles causing the knife to not self-center. Poor Design. Explained to Vendor and tried to state that this is a normal phenomenon. Found pin luckily and reinstalled as this was a gift for someone and returning would have been a problem since they are leaving for out of state. Too much play in the knife as well

Great gift for my son! Great for beginners and very durable

This is my 16yo’s favorite thing to fiddle with. Hoping it holds up for him. I would suggest keeping it at home however, the blade is blunt, however it looks/sounds real.

(Edit: the more i swung this thing the more comfortable it got just need to wear it in) Its has a good durability. Its great for what you pay for its great for beginners because it has a nice roughness the only thing i dont like is that its not too smooth it kinda gets uncomfy when holding it it nees like a oil on it it looks great when you leave it on your desk or laying around
