Great idea
I used it, I was working on grinding concrete floor worked good at first, then it started falling apart, I guess it's only made to use on pretty flat surfaces.

Hook and loop tape isn't strong enough
Used to remove carpet adhesive, about 1200 square feet. That's about the life of the hook and loop adhesive tape. Needs a strap that tightens the shroud to the machine.

Seller will not honor warranty
I bought it 4 months ago and the Velcro part is peeling off even though I prepped it for adhesion. The seller said “sorry, you’re out of the return window.” I just was asking for another Velcro piece and they won’t even do that.
