This book was hilarious! If you've seen the movie and liked it, you will love the book! Everything in the movie happened in the book, but the movie stopped about halfway through the book.

Wanted to read this after watching the movie. It’s really good🙂

I had to find this book for a gift and It was definitely tough to find this original paperback and this was exactly what I needed.

After watching the film several times, I thought it would be interesting to read the book . I loved it! Enough differences from the movie script to keep the book an enjoyable page-turner.

This is an excellent, very well-written book. I swear it is a joy to read; I can't wait to read more pages when I get home from work. I wonder if I like it so much because it is a comedy and it keeps me laughing. I also wonder in amazement how Joe David Brown captured Southern expressions, the persona of a young girl when he is a grown man, and his extensive knowledge of con games. He has become one of my favorite authors and an example as a writing mentor.

One of my friends reminded of an older version of Tatum's character, so I gave her the film for her birthday. Then we laughed and smiled, and enjoyed a classic that still holds up today.
