10-40 full synthetic motorcycle is the correct type of oil for your bike. Triumph corporate recommends only the castrol brand (If you bought a ferrari back in the day you could only use shell). if your motor calls for 20-50 oil it will work. 4 stroke Oil is oil All of what's out there comes from the same refining process with the same additives
