Delicious!
Compared to standard ramen this brand is 3.5 oz vs 3 oz packages. When you first open the bag and break the noodles these definitely have more of a crackle. After cooking and letting noodles stand in broth for a few mins Ichiban noodles definitely plump up a little more. The broth is slightly better but I think it’s the noodles that really differentiate it. Is it worth the price? This brand varies from .79 to 1.48 per package. I can get Maruchan Ramen at Walmart for 12/$1.97 or just about 16.5 cents each.

This is only one 1 not 1 pack!
Only 1 ramen! I paid the same price for 5 many times and changed flavors just to pay $6 for 1. What a rip off! I guess I didn’t read it closely enough! So mad about it. How is chicken flavor 5 for $6 and beef is the same price for 1? READ CARFULLY!

great!
Compare Sapporo Ichiban beef to the cheap brands of beef ramen like Top Ramen or Maruchan and you will never buy them again. Ichiban means the best and these are when it comes to packaged ramen noodles. If you add some seasonings like anise, garlic, ginger & a dash of fish sauce and toss in some leftover beef, green onions & fresh bean sprouts if you have them & a little chili oil or sriracha if you like, this makes a decent effort at pho in a fraction of the time it takes to make authentic pho.

Smashed to pieces
Product was smashed to small pieces. look very weathered. I also thought it was a 5 pack of them, my mistake, so way over priced then.

Not really different from other brands
Cost more than it should. Great taste but not too different from maruchan or top ramen. And sadly they all have msg. And that's ingredient not needed. Tend to not use the packet & add my own seasonings.

Best packaged ramen I've had
I'm a ramen fanatic and this is the best packaged ramen I've had, very flavorful. Of course you're not getting gourmet from a package that costs less than a dollar but this stuff tastes great and I'm sure the sodium the through the roof but it doesn't taste overly salty. Good stuff if you like ramen, will definitely buy again.

Ambrosia
Sapporo ichiban noodles are some of the most pleasant in texture and taste. Any of their flavors rank highly in my favorite noodle list. Absolutely great. I think this was the first I had tried of imported ramen (meaning not maruchan or top ramen) and i couldn't go back outside using those as a dry side dish .
