Multi pack. Does what it claims. Cheap enough that you don’t have to worry about losing them. Just one small issue. Do something about the blue thread that links the plugs. It rubs against my clothes and feedback is grating. I resorted to just cutting them. Edit 2025/10/07 - I was wrong, it is possible to remove the blue thread, just pull on the thread and it will pop out of the earplug.

Okay this will be my review for 3M corded mouse reduction earplugs. I live nearby a busy highway near to a city which can get really loud and noisy during morning 8 AM to 10 PM in a day. Those annoying honking and stupid bullet silencer sounds can really mess up your mental health and mood levels. Therefore it is advisable to use ear plugs for a quiter and healthy environment. Pros: 1) Minimizes Noise levels to 80% 2) Can be used for various Purposes ( Heavy Duty Drilling Work/ Studying / Outdoor Camping / Concerts / Sleeping ) I normally use it for sleeping at night. 3) Cheap & Affordable 4) Build Quality Is highly effective than other foam based ear plugs. I have used foam based ear plugs previously but they usually got damaged after a month or so. 5) Comes with the strings attached so it doesn't get misplaced. ( But it's for every type of ear plugs , foam or silicone. I don't get it why I listed it in Pros but why not :D ) Cons: 1) Not 100 percent Noise Cancellation 2) Not advisable to use for longer 6-8 hrs as the inner ear starts to ache. (I personally think Foam based plugs do a good job at this) Other than that. I think these are pretty great but. You can go for it.

So, I live in an apartment complex where my neighbors are too happy to have bought their new units ... so everyone is banging away to glory ... I mean ... they are reconstructing their houses. I am not sure if this is allowed by contract, but, they are NOT getting just new furniture made ... they are breaking down walls and columns and rebuilding everything. I am not sure how long this 20 floors building will stand with all that abuse my neighbors are hurling at the building. With that background ... I am sandwiched between two crazy neighbors who have been reconstructing their houses for the past few months. At least the neighbors on the lower floor were decent enough to give me an advanced notice that there will be some constructution noise from their house. So, I immediately ordered these. I got 5 pieces and this has to be nothing but a joke! I am not sure this is an original 3M product. This thing does NOT cancel even one bit, or should it be one db, of noise. My cheap Sony headset does a far better job of cancelling the jackhammer noise from the construction going on below. And my nephew's noise cancelling Bose headset does a far superior job. Now you would say ... c'mon man .... those are INR 1000 and INR 25000 headsets with some active electronics in them. Agreed! But, this thing claimed to be a "noise reduction" earplug. But, they are NOT reducing any noise. Overall, not recommended. You should rather spend that money at your local Pani-Puri walla.

It was good in terms of pricing and all the stuff but it was not good at noise counselling around like 60% of noises cancelled

Works extremely well. Easy to insert and take out from ears.

Cheap and Best for motorcycle rides

So, I was looking for ear plugs to use while riding my Speed 400. The bike itself isn't loud but the wind noise in my SMK Typhoon helmet (research says wind noise is inevitable in most, if not all, helmets) is quite high at speeds crossing 80kmph. Long term exposure to high wind noise will turn you deaf. I needed plugs that wouldn't totally drown out sound (horns, bluetooth helmet headset etc) but get rid of the wind noise. These work perfectly, most sounds are audible but the wind noise is muted. To insert the plugs comfortably, grab the top of your left ear with your right hand over the top of your head. Pull your ear up and front/ back (each ear is different) so that the ear canal is straight, making it easy to glide the ear plugs in. Vice versa for the other ear.

They are ok. Doesn’t block out most noices
