So fantastic. First
So fantastic. First, the battery life is great; lasting much longer than the same battery does in a screw gun. It has light feather-able trigger control, and although it looks big, and is kinda big, you find yourself able to wiggle it into a lot of places. Having no air line in the way is a huge factor is maneuverability. It's pretty strong, able to run up manual belt tensioners that aren't encased in rust. I really like the little LED light it has. It looks cheesy when you're first playing with the tool ("that little light isn't gonna help"). But it's just enough to shine and illuminate air box screws, and inside fender liners, etc. Two very minor complaints. 1) While you can use this to break bolts free, if you really lean on it, you can feel a bit of case flex. I no longer do that, since it would likely lead to eventual failure. I do break things free, that is one of the great things about the design. Just don't crank on it. 2) The reversing knob is mounted nearly flush with the head of the ratchet mechanism. Can be a little tight sometimes, although mine has loosened up after a few weeks. It really impressed me when I did a 2.5L Subaru timing belt, and I just zipped those timing covers off like nothing. No air hose in the way, just yanking them one by one. Pretty quiet too, you could actually talk to someone while lightly raising your voice. That isn't gonna happen running an air ratchet. Great tool.

Dumb move on their part
This ratchet was money well spent. I am a professional mechanic who owns my own shop. I do everything myself which has its ups and downs. I am always looking for more ways to be more productive and this tool is it. I work mostly on Ford powerstrokes so most jobs are lenghty. I learned about this tool from a guy on youtube named diseltech Ron. He raved about it until Milwaukee told him he couldn't anymore. Dumb move on their part. Anyway the ratchet is amazing. Well built. Feels nice in your hand. Plenty of power and battery life. I also bought the 3/8 version from Home Depot. The 1/4 version is the one I use the most for automotive repair. Both ratchets are great. After 18 years as a professional mechanic I am left to wonder how I ever got along without these ratchets. It is definetely my favorite tool by a long shot. I use it every chance I get. It has stood up well to the abuse and shop chemicals so far. I've had both ratchets for about 6 weeks now and I have no complaints.

im a autobody tech and have the older version (gen 2) loved it, but this is a new level of quality and speed. 2x lighter and a bit smaller head, i absolutely recommend this for anyone! even if you have soft hands lol

It’s not a 1/4 inch it’s 3/8 with a 1/4 adapter.
It’s not as described but okay, does the job, good quality.
