Perfect for bringing Starlink cable from dish into house
I was looking for a weathertight way to bring my Starlink cable into my house. I used a 12 inch long 1/4 inch bit to drill through the wall, then a 1 inch spade bit from both inside and outside. Make sure you put the cable through the included gasket, fish it through the hole, then attach the plastic piece to the wall after routing the cable downwards through the provided notch. Worked great and looks like it will be rain proof. For the inside hole, there are plastic wall plates available on Amazon that will make it look nice as well.

I like these - have bought multiple times.
A clean way to protect cable entry into walls and soffits. Take paint well - can't say about applying stain though. You can make a large enough entry hole and still get protection from the elements. There is a gasket to help keep out moisture and bugs. They work fine but haven't tried other options to compare with.

Easy to use
It has a professional look after installation and comes with a rubber gasket to insure no water leaking around your cable. It has been installed for a month and no water leaks around it. It is a great fit for the Starlink cable which is what I used it for. You can also use with RG8x size cable.

Great for Starlink
Headline says it all. I have cement siding on that part of the house; wanted something that'd work well. Another reviewer mentioned he'd used it for Starlink, so I went for it. It's cheap but effective, and being designed for a marine environment, the screws will likely not be getting rusty any time soon. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Weather protect satellite cable into your house.
This was a great solution for getting a Starlink cable into my house, providing a better weather seal than other solutions.

Great for Starlink install
I wanted this to be a well done install since going on the metal roof is quite dicey. This item fit the Starlink (2nd gen) cable really well. I hope I never have to replace the cable, but if I do, I can reuse this item again. I just drilled the required hole in the Hardiboard and the included screws worked just fine on it too.

Not good for starlink gen 2. Requires too tight bend radius of cable
This is a nice quality cable entry gland. It should make a watertight seal if installed on a mostly flat surface. It requires the cable passing through it to be sharply bent. It's a very tight bend for a data cable. Ultimately, I didn't use this cableclam because I was worried about damaging the cable. Instead, I used other one from this same company that has a stainless steel cover and doesn't require bending of the cable. It's a nice quality product if your cable can be bent at a sharp angle. It's my own fault for not realizing this wouldn't work for my specific situation.

This cover looks great and should do the job very well. I got it to cover and replace an old mast wire deck fitting drilled into the deck that I can no longer buy. Was exactly as described and fit the hole perfectly. It’s a good solid part. I wish they made this with 2 wire exits but besides that I don’t have anything bad to say. I would buy more if needed.

We needed something special for our Starlink install, and this worked great. It's marine background gave is the confidence that it would keep the water out if the house. The build quality once we recieved it only made us more confident. Will definitely buy again if we need to pass a cable into our place.

the 1" hole required easily passes the dish connector end of a starlink cable and looks to provide a good weather resistant seal. a little silicone would ensure this but i don't think it necessary in my installation. don't forget to pass the cable through the rubber gasket before you connect to the dish.
