I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist, I hope my review helps!
I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist and Shiatsu Practitioner 🙌🏽 for 25 years so these thoughts may be valid to you. I do not work for the company but purchased one on Amazon. It arrived a week ago or so. The Pso-Rite tool is good for hard to reach tendons. My husband who tends to get build-up in shoulders has found it pretty helpful. He definitely felt the difference after 1st usage. He does push ups longer now which has always been a problem. The tool goes further then my elbow could ever go. Lol. It’s affective in shoulder joints, shoulder blades, quads and ham string muscles. You can use it at the bottom of your foot too for all you plantar fasciitis sufferers and there’s enough of you! This tool and rolling a frozen bottle of water will get you there! Now, as far as price - I paid $39 for ours (Amazon). I went back to buy a few more as gifts and even a 2nd one for us the same week and it went up to $59. Today I noticed it jumped to $80 (😳) Yes, it probably costs about $7 to make. Yes, the price is high and although they are probably looking for that sweet spot in the price, it’s a good investment. It can fit in any overnight bag. Its not to heavy and yet it feels solid when you use it. It’s a great tool. They have clearly put some thought into it. I, as a massage therapist and sufferer of psoas tightness, have found it pretty affective. I also use on my lower back and glutes for release. When it heads back down to $59, I will snag a few. Lastly and more importantly, you want to open up those areas that are tight. It brings more blood flow and therefore oxygen to that area. With that, there is healing. With healing, you will find more mobility that you may not find at a PT office (Truth). Happy healing and good job Pso-Rite. 🙌🏽♥️

WORTH EVERY PENNY!
WOW! First of all, About me: two herniated discs at 24 years old and very active. I lift 5 days a week and run 6 days a week Thank you Joe Rogan for always talking about this and promoting it without getting paid by Pso-Rite which gave me confidence to try this out. I herniated two discs in my lower back about 3 years ago which has been giving me serious problems ever since. I avoided surgery at all costs and have tried nearly everything there is to pain relief associated with releasing tension to the sciatic nerve...My bedroom looks like a physical therapy office. I've done physical therapy for 6 months, chiropractic work for 6 months (what a joke), read multiple books about living with herniated discs (since it never really heals 100%) and was really knowledgable on how to roll out properly with a lacrosse ball, foam roller, PVC pipe, using a inversion table, electro therapy etc..to either reduce the pain or give me enough mobility to just go about my day to school and work without sweating from the pain and discomfort. The one thing all of the doctors, physical therapists and books never mentioned was the Psoas muscle. I looked up what this muscle was and it blew my mind that nobody ever mentioned it to me after the hundreds of doctor/physical therapy appointments I had. After reading a little about it I ordered one immediately. On a normal day when I wake up, my pain is usually a 6-8/10 and I always have to do my routine with my inversion table, lacrosse balls etc...to be able start my day. The first time I used this for my Psoas, it was like the greatest relief I have ever felt. It was weird because I never knew about the muscle, never realized how tight and sore it was, but after couple minutes of just using this directly on the Psoas, my pain completely went away. Not only the pain went away but my posture for sitting and walking feels way better because now I have more mobility in that muscle since it was never worked on in all 4 years of my powerlifting career and because of that I know have a mind muscle connection to a muscle that I never knew I had which helps me when I am sitting for a long time or just walking. And on top of all of that, this piece of equipment gets all the spots a lacrosse ball or foam roller can never get to. This is the best for hips, hamstrings, calves, upper back, lower back and nearly everywhere I have tried it on it has impressed me since I have tried other things which don't do as well due to not being the right design or size. This is clearly a very long review and obviously everybody is different and might not get the same benefits as me but what I do know for a fact is if you don't get any benefit or relief from this then you are just not using it correctly. I have shown this to all my friends and let them use it when they are over at my house and none of them have any injuries and were raving about how much pressure it released or how good it felt during and after using the Pso-Rite. 100% worth the money and you won't regret it. Injured or not, this will change your game. This is my new favorite thing to do before and after workouts to prevent injuries and help with recovery.

WOW!!
UPDATE: YALL!! 3 days later and I can TOUCH MY FEET!!! I never thought I'd see the day. This is not only taking my pain away but restoring my mobility!! I feel like I'm getting my life back after 15+ years of pain!!! BEST. INVESTMENT. EVER!! 😍😍😍😍 I've struggled with knee and hip pain since I was barely even a teen. I've been to so many Dr's, been in Physical Therapy more times than I can count, and at one point was going to the Chiropractor 3 days a week for almost a year straight. Nothing has ever alleviated the pain, only somewhat lessened it. NONE of those things or any pain medication has ever worked as well as this little contraption combined with the mini one. I've had them for less than 24 hours and in that time I've seen more progress than ever! My knee pain is COMPLETELY gone. My hip still hurts a little but I know I still have a lot more trauma to dig out of it. Before it arrived I was in so much pain. Pain that prevents me from getting decent sleep (only getting any sleep because I am prescribed a sleep aide). Pain that makes day to day tasks a challenge. Pain that makes me dread walking. Pain so bad I've wished of having my leg legitimately removed just to make it stop. Laying down I've never been able to lift my leg very high before my knee bends and after one day of use I can lift my leg straight up without bending my knee. I've never been able to even get close to touching my toes without bending my knee and yet today I can touch my toes. It's a tricky little thing to use and it HURTS LIKE HELL but it WORKS. With almost 5k reviews on Amazon it has 4.5 star rating proving this is worth it! I am beyond happy with the results and I'm honestly excited to see how much more it's going to repair. 🥰

Expensive but effective
I have suffered from lower back pain for years. I adhere to a strict stretching and core strengthening routine. For the most part this routine has controlled my pain and has allowed me to function normally. However I recently suffered a severe lock up that devastated my ability to do any physical activity for two weeks. A friend, who also suffers back pain, mentioned the Psoas muscle and how treating that muscle helped him. He also mentioned this product but didn't purchase it because he felt it was too expensive. He showed me a video where a softball was used to put pressure of the Psoas. I tried the softball and it did improve my situation. In researching this product I read the many reviews that mentioned the high price for a plastic mold, but as with many back sufferers, no price is too much if the back pain goes away. After purchasing the product, i can see why so many questioned the price for a piece of plastic. However, it doesn't feel cheap. After using the product for two weeks, i certainly believe the product works. Folks, the key is to understand how important it is to release the Psoas muscle to relieve back pain. This product does that. Now, I think this product could be improved if it was adjustable. Is it worth $80? For me, yes. But, like i mentioned earlier, it is possible to reach the Psoas muscle with other methods. There are many helpful videos on the topic you can reference via Youtube.

It gets in deep
Long story short, I've had tons of myofascial pain and tension in the legs and glutes and lower back. This tension clamps on nerves and causes more pain. I do what works for me and have developed precise, elaborate exercises and stretches for myself. This tool is now one of my go to tools after the first use. Some background, at one point, I literally had chains of trigger points including into psoas, diaphragm, tight IT bands, tight quads, etc., and an incredible "stiffness" including sitting pain. I had piriformis syndrome for a while, sciatic pain and just general high muscle tone issues (the stiffness might be called "muscle rheumatism" back in the day). Possibly powered by my lower lumbar DDD issues - who knows. I changed my diet to mega flavinoids (green powders + various supplements including turmeric (and did I say flavinoids)) + higher vitamin C. I also use Nattokinase/serrapeptidase/ lumbrokinase enzymes, too (which may help tissue remodeling/removal of fibrin/debris? – again who knows?), and do all kinds of exercise and stretching daily (mostly TRX suspension exercises and Pilates reformer and some exercise bands with leg exercises; all this is great for eccentric exercise and core strengthening). I have a ton of balls of various sizes from really big, 5", 4 and 3" and tiny ones and a tool called the pocket physio max which is a great point tool. Also, foam rollers (I like Rollga's, the curved ones) and percussion massagers. I got most of these right here on Amazon. This approach has helped me to really heal and lower the tension. In fact, I go in cycles where I don't do much trigger point work at all anymore. Just more dynamic stretching than static stretching while I'm doing the TRX / Pilates and using a vibration platform, etc. All that being said some of the best tools include this one - which I use most for my glutes and upper legs. I got positive results the first time I used it. This and certain balls and the Lockerroom pocket physio max tool and my percussion massager are my go to tools when I do trigger point work. Yes it was expensive. However, the first time I used it I knew it wasn't going back. Do consider taking it easy if using on your abdomen. It does get in deep! Lots of videos on YouTube of people using this in various ways. I really don’t like to do much psoas massage work – I tried balls, the end of the Rollga's etc - because the psoas tends to "knot up" if you do that and you can't necessarily get to high up parts of it. That being said, this can hit lower parts of the psoas and possibly rectus adbominus trigger points (which I have). I do inverted (reversed) handstands bending backwards over a large inflated ball to stretch the psoas and I do some pikes on the TRX and on my Pilates machine to work and move the psoas. However this tool can be used so many other places – on the back of the legs, glutes, etc. So the name Pso-rite is a bit of a misnomer. If you have myofascial pain anything like I’ve described above in deep, bigger muscles, this will probably become one of your go to tools.

Overpriced & Overhyped
I'd give the PSO-Rite 4 stars, but it seems insanely overpriced for a piece of plastic. Yes, it's a good piece of plastic, but still... I also find it a little difficult to use unless you really know what you're doing and can locate the psoas and illiacus. The online videos aren't super helpful with this, and it will take some trial and error. The inclination is to lay on it with the Pro-Right bridging the abdomen, but that really isn't all that effective. Instead you need to really concentrate on using one horn at a time, but moving your body into position isn't all that easy and takes a while to get the hang of. The benefit is that once you do figure it out, you can apply your body weight to dig into the psoas and illiacus which are very hard to get to and tiring to massage any other way. I also have a Rogue Mobility Hand which I find much easier and more precise to use (by hand and without attaching it to a rack) for self-massaging my psoas and illiacus, but it's more tiring and requires some arm strength. If I could only afford one of them, it would not be the overpriced Pso-Rite which isn't overall as useful as the Mobility Hand.

OH.... MY.... GOD.... YES
I NEVER write reviews, but this one takes the cake. I've used MANY MASSAGE TOOLS over the years, but this one is THE BEST for DEEP PENETRATION in AREAS I COULD NEVER REACH with SUFFICIENT PRESSURE. The VALUE of this tool CANNOT BE OVERSTATED AT ALL. I've been using tools for AGES NOW, not to mention I had a MASTERFUL MASSEUSE who was amazing in many ways and yet even with all her masterful techniques it all PALED IN COMPARISON when I started using this tool to hit my problem spots on my own by either laying on my back on my stomach usually... sometimes on my side. You really need to EXPLORE YOUR BODY and FIND YOUR SPOTS and then DIG DEEPER EVERY TIME YOU GET FURTHER ALONG USING THIS TOOL. Like seriously folks. I NEVER write a review, EVER. But in this case I had to. BY THE WAY, if you want a PRO TIP, use this massager to "WARM UP THE AREA" to get it ready for UTTER OBLITERATION using the PSO-RITE: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q56C5CX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That is the Professional Vibrating Peanut Massage Ball. This ONE-TWO PUNCH combination has increased my flexibility to the point where I feel like a kid again, and my STRESS LEVELS ARE SO LOW now too and SLEEPING is also a new thing for me. I lift heavy weights and do cardio, HIIT, sprints... you name it. I was ALL SEIZED UP due to the fact I couldn't see my masseuse due to the CORONAVIRUS, but since these two products came in the mail, I'M DOING BETTER THAN I EVER HAD DONE. The added FLEXIBILITY and DEEP PENETRATION is HIGHLY NOTICEABLE when I go about my day, laying down, but especially when I got to LIFT WEIGHTS, WALK, JOG, RUN, or do INTERVALS. The DEEP STRETCH lasts a LONG TIME if you really HIT YOURSELF HARD. For me personally, its the hidden tendons that were so tight and I literally spend 6 hours at a time working all areas of the body and usually it seems like I'm BENDING BONES and LIGAMENTS in their JOINT SOCKETS wherever they may be and it FEELS LIKE HEAVEN when I do it because I KNOW EXACTLY where to explore into the muscle fascia. It takes practice, but let the EXTREME PLEASURE and RELIEF you get when you found a "PROBLEM AREA" be all the indication you need START HITTING IT. When I am hitting a much needed spot it's like a drug and I can't stop for an hour at a time until it is FULLY OBLITERATED and once I'm done I won't need to hit it again for a week or more. Simply put, buy it. Buy two, just in case.
