Spyder Auto PRO-YD-ML08-HID-DRL-C Mitsubishi Lancer/EVO-10 Chrome HID Type DRL LED Projector Headlight

I like LEDS and Alo, same as BMW is very beautiful. I researched the brands and ended up deciding to buy the SPYDER. The product is beautiful and well done, but in my opinion, a downgrade to the EVO X.the LED is weak and Alo is not visible during the day, but the biggest problem is the high beam, does not seem to exist, is only visible because light is yellow. The EVO X comes with Bixenon headlights where high light is fantastic. I tried to change the lamp by a stronger but did not work. If you drive in a very dark place and need to use the high beam, you will see that there is no difference, just nothing happens .I think that's a big problem because it is dangerous. I'm a big fan of Amazon and I know that is not their problem but should be concerned when a product comes with the specifications of SAE and DOT aproved and has such a performance below the original Headlights.Spent money for believing in SPYDER ($ 400.00)Spyder Never More.I live in Brazil and I have no way to return the product, I've put back the original headlight.Will be stored in the garage and then will end up as trash.

I bought this headlights because they are like OEM, did NOT had to cut or modified anything, except the halo ring which was not a problem to just connect it to the LED strip and done deal. The ONLY problem I was having was trying to plug in the main socket as the one from the headlights is just a little to big and by hand was not possible to snap in place. With the help of some pliers I was able to snap it in, other than that no other problems. It even has the options to use with stock movement, meaning I can move the level of the headlight up and down just as the OEM one. It definitively gives the car a much better look. I had done swap headlights before, so it wasn't hard at all for me. The car I put on was for a 2012 Lancer Ralliart with HIDs projectors.

I received the product and realized that these projector housings required a different sized bulb then the stock lancer, minor inconvenience. I ordered the correct size bulbs, put those in the housing and was excited to install these lights! I removed my bumper and old headlight housings only to find that the wiring harnesses they used for these housings were no where near the right size for the stock wiring harness! Needless to say, when they advertise these as a plug and play replacement, they have no idea what they are talking about. If the product would have been a direct replacement and all of the harnesses matched up, I would probably give this product a five star rating, they do look cool, but seeing as how you cant put them in your car they have absolutely no function.

The quality is good but for the low beam light is very low and i have tried led bulb and 100 watts xenon but i still cannot see the road. The high beam is very good.

I ordered these thinking they looked real nice, I knew I would need to modify the pins to install these. When I received them, I found out not only would they not fit. But that they had shipped me the tail light housings from an EVO 8. No biggie, I'm a patient person, I filled out an exchange request, received the new ones two days later, they were the same thing I just sent back. I filed for a straight return and gave up.

Don't come with ballasts or bulbs. Expect to pay extra for these. Also doesn't come with a comprehensible wiring diagram.

I bought these on E-bay actually...they are horrible and definitely do not fit an evo x. they are not bright at all and I'm only keeping them on bc I sold my OEM ones. I'm getting these looked at by a friend of mine soon and going from there to get them looking good and working right which is another expense I didn't want to make but safety first!
