Great value
Great adapter to allow both PCIe and/or SATA NVMe cards to be connected to an older style PC. Full PCIe performance and worked straight away on my Windows 10 PC.

It works, but could use instructions.
No instructions, mounting screws for the NVME drive were absent. Saying that, it was 15 quid and I can use another M.2 drive at PCIE3 x4

Works well, but heatsink screws too short
The adaptor works well as a way to mount an NVMe drive into a PCIe x16 slot and appears to be working at full speed. The heatsink keeps it nice and cool, except that the screws are too short to allow you to screw the heatsink into the base card. It is fortunate that the board I have means the heatsink it on top of the card when plugged in so it is held in place by gravity! I will need to come up with a way to mount the heatsink properly, such as finding some M2x10mm bolts.

Quick and easy - Windows sees device to install main OS on.
worked a treat. Fitted the NVME drive and popped it it. During install Windows saw the drive no problems. No drivers needed etc.

Fiddly to fit. Securing screws missing.
While the socket on the card accepted the SSD drive easily enough, the screw that secures the ferrule, and thus the drive to the card wasn't supplied. It also required quite a bit of jiggling to get the assembled card and mounting plate to fit into the PCIe slot and the low-rise mounting plate could only be fitted using a single screw. While the card and SSD don't weigh much this felt a little...tacky.

Fast way to speed up your PC
I bought one of these to speed up my desktop, works much faster than a standard SATA SSD. Also bought one to use as the NVMe socket on my motherboard was damaged, much cheaper than a new mother board (£100 + my time) or having to clone my drive making the NVMe drive redundant (again, £100 and time).

Fantastic
Bought a WD Black NVMe SSD for my computer because it is much faster than the normal SATA ones. However, I don't have any M.2 ports on my mother board but this did the treat. Used for over 8 Months now and not had any issues with it

Not what you think
I bought this one specifically as i thought 16x card would be better than the usual 4x or 8x ones you find. But when looking at the card, you can see the 8x portion connects to the m.2 slot. But the rest of the pins go up i tiny bit and go nowhere. and yes a sata m.2 drive dose not work with this. but my nvme m.2 drive dose sort of. my m.2 is supposed to speed upto 2200MBs. i ran a benchmark and it only got to1500MBs. thats a 3rd of the speed gone.
