I was looking specifically for a saw that is lightweight and capable of helping me trim trees and/or produce firewood for backpacking / bikepacking. This tool is sturdy and it weighs in at only 70 grams (80 grams with the case). I was hesitant about the little nub in the front--but it makes sawing with this thing quick an efficient--you can focus on the back and forth-motion without worrying about coming out of the groove. The locking is effective and it's comfortable in your hand. Does a great job overall! This is a permanent addition to my camping gear. Worth the money. I recommend it. Hope this was helpful!

Extremely light weight and durable. Works great in the field. Must have for hunters!

Compact and lightweight this saw is useful and cuts well. If you have old arthritic hands like I do I can be a challenge to use but I found it effective and will enjoy using it in the future. For heavy sawing maybe the 7 inch version would be better but this fit the niche I was looking for, carrying in a small pack while hunting and fishing. It’s better than the little saw on your multi tool but not as easy to use as a Silky saw. Overall I’m satisfied.

I am a hunter and this little saw is perfect for my needs. Pros: 1. Compact and lightweight enough that I don’t mind leaving it mounted to the outside of my pack so it is always there in the same spot. 2. It cuts sternum (easily) and pelvis (if needed, although I rarely cut the pelvis I have a buddy who does and he’s used this saw for that a few times so far). 3. It’s Orange so, when I set it down in the woods, I can find it again 4. It cuts small branches and saplings just fine. Is a bigger saw better for this? Yes, but I have one of those and don’t ever want it in my pack and even if I did it wouldn’t be right on the hip belt ready when I need it. Cons: 1. I wish the sheath had a small plastic buckle instead of velcro so it would be quieter getting it out for small limb clearing while hunting. I may even sew one on the sheath and remove the velcro myself.
