I have designed many products, and at NASA we always looked for the most innovative ways to create devices that solve problems for our pilots (I did the study that led to redesign of the F16 hand controller which was terrible in the 80's). Well, listen up EDC guys and those who spend a fortune on these expensive "tactical pens" with lights that are so poorly designed. One has a light on the cap so it takes two hands. The other has a light that....I still don't get how it works, as it is so complex AND EXPENSIVE. This product is OPTIMAL. The design, putting the light at the bottom with the ergonomics to fit the hand so well, and a little "grippy" coating on the pen is amazing. Also the ergonomics of the light? How could it be more simple. One click light off, second click light on. BUT IT PUTS THE LIGHT RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED IT. I do certain types of work at night outside where I need to write down information quickly. By putting the light at the bottom, it could be total darkness and my little notebook is illuminated with light dispersed so you see the page as your writing. The company: OK, this blows my mind. I had a minor issue with two different products at the same time. This one, and a shredder. The shredder company did not respond for 2 months until I had to get Amazon higher up support involved to handle it which was not fun and took so much time. With the pen? Talk about underpromise-overdeliver? They were extremely responsive and said they would mail me a little part. What did I receive? 3 x more brand new pens when I simply needed a part for one AND a newer product that is called the Fashion Case Original, a pen that is very beautiful for office use (from my perspective). It has a slider switch to turn it on and produces a beautiful blue light. I highly recommend this pen for everyone. Even sitting watching TV in a darkly lit room, you receive a call and need to write down important information. I have a small note pad (like a field note...same quality but less expensive) with the Glovion pen attached. You click it twice, and do not have to turn the lights on to see what you are writing. Thanks for such a great job on this pen and the AMAZING support. It surpasses NASAGUY's high standards indeed. I will post a video of how cool it is later.

Amazing pen. I sometimes have a brilliant idea in the middle of the night. With this pen you don't need to turn on room lights. One click and you have an ordinary pen. two addition clicks and the red led lights!. Very practical for taking notes when in a darken room or lecture hall.

A little pricey, but the unique feature makes it well worth the price. There's no extra bulk to it, just feels like a regular pen in your hand. Perfect when you don't want to wake up your spouse but yet you want to jot down what popped into your head as you woke up. Will also be giving these as a gift. Perfect gift for the person that has everything

I use these to make a note during the night, so I can go back to sleep after I remember something important. Works great so far.

I bought these hoping I could put a Frixion erasable refill in so I could use it with my Rocketbook, but the cartridge is part of the switch system and it's a special shape and can't be swapped out. Going to keep the pens, but can't use them as I originally intended.

Rcvd. in reasonable time. Pens were exactly as advertised. They have a good, solid feel to them and write smoothly. I really like the red led as it is plenty bright for its purpose without being glaringly bright like most of the white led pens available on the market these days. Had previously bought the "pilot's pen" available on Amazon. They have a similar feel to them, but the batteries on every pen I purchased did not last. On the first use, the led light in the tip of the pens started fading almost immediately. These pens, so far, have kept a reasonable amount of steady light. I use them daily, or rather nightly, for writing in a dark area and the light is just the right level brightness that I would choose even if they had a dimmer function built in. I have even used them for a flashlight on midnight bathroom trips so that I did not have to disturb my wife by turning on the bedside lamp. The only thing I have negative to say about them is that the cap that goes on the end with the stylus can easily be lost, as it does not really snap on and off, but the cap itself is not vital to the function of these pens. I would definitely still recommend these to anyone that has the need for a useful, unobtrusive light for either writing or navigating a dark house.

I was really looking forward to receiving these pens because I wanted to be able to use them at night and not need to have my lights on when writing or reading. I was a bit disappointed when the light started dimming after 3-5 minutes of use. When I contacted customer support, they informed me the batteries are meant to dim the light over time but they recharge to full capacity after the pen light is turned off for awhile. This works well for people who are trying to write lists or do things briefly in the dark. If you are looking for a small light to read with though, when you don't have a booklight, this is not the option. The pen can be used with or without the light, but the light cannot be used without the pen being clicked out. They stylus at the end of the clicker is amazing and makes life really easy. I still think the pens were a little overpriced since they dim so quickly, but they write extremely smoothly and these pens impress a lot of people. I am constantly being asked where I bought these pens from and then direct them towards Glovion. I highly recommend Glovion products though because their customer support was amazing. They are always trying to make their customers happy and if you are not satisfied for any reason they will do their best to make it right. If you like to write a lot during the night Glovion does have other pens with a bigger battery that allows you to write with light longer before it dims out. I highly recommend checking those out if you need something different.

Love this little pen. The red light right at the tip I'm writing with is just what I was looking for. Great for using at night or in meeting rooms with insufficient light.

2 of the 3 pens worked perfectly

As a mariner who works on ships, this product is perfect to jot down log book notes or refer to vital manoeuvring information in the darkness of the ship’s bridge when navigating. It serves a dual function of a pen and a mini flashlight which makes it a perfect tool to have. The product is great and the service from vendor was excellent.

Je les utilise au restaurent où je travaille, on baisse la lumière pour l'ambiance. Tous les clients les trouvent vraiment cool et pratiques. J'adore le fait qu'il y a un refeel d'ancre et et de batterie pour chacun de mes crayons. Ils écrivent super bien en plus. Vraiment de qualité produit.

These pens are good. My daughter will enjoy writing in the dark. I only gave 4 stars because we got 2 white and a blue instead of 1 red, 1 blue and 1 white.

Use this pen often at night when needing to leave a message. Also find it helpful during the night when remembering something I need to do the next day. Can write myself a note without the need to put a light on and disturb my husband, pen has such a gentle glow, even less than my smart phone.
