One step at a time ...
Great piece of kit. Simple to use ... no faffing with Apps ... it just counts your steps and does so very well.

simple but accurate
This pedometer works on a more advanced principle than the old pendulum method and returns reasonably accurate results. I used to use Omron pedometers, but this is much simpler & its only function is to count steps. You need to press reset every time you want to record steps otherwise it will just keep adding to the previous days total. I bought this to compare steps with my fitness watch. Surprisingly, they record acceptably similar totals. My fist test was to walk 1,000 steps and count them myself. The 3DFitBud recorded 960 (-40) and the watch 950 (-50). Both devices do not record the first 10 steps (possibly they also may not complete to the end of your walk?). The next walk was 7,230 steps approx (I did not count these). Both devices were withing 3 steps of each other this time, which is surprising. The supplied lanyard is an important feature IMO as many pedometers are lost when they work loose from your belt. Secure the cord to a belt hoop or just wear it around your neck. It will also work fine carried in your pocket. Pretty good product if you don't mind basic & simple.

Accurate and easy to use.
Ideal for walking. No frills or gadgets, no app to connect to. Does exactly what it's supposed to do, it counts steps. I found it very accurate and good value for money.

Simplicity of setup and use.
Cheaper step recorders were available but I wanted something straightforward, no complications or setup. The aim is to give me a realistic indication of the amount of exercise I am getting each day. I have tried the apps on my mobile but they all seem to come with extensive questions (data harvesting) and a lot of adverts to the extent they are more trouble than they are worth. As others have reviewed, it is really simple, within a few minutes it was working, no complicated setup and I now have an idea of how much walking exercise I get each day. A bit sad really as I hoped I was doing more, but never mind, its a start! I haven't tried the belt clip as I prefer the lanyard. Generally I am happy with the product and would buy again.

Simple, accurate and does the job
I previously bought a pedometer which had a menu of functions which I struggled to manage. It broke down after three weeks. This is a robust, clear and easy to use pedometer. I can't tell the time on it, it wont boil my eggs in the morning and it doesn't act as alarm clock and nor is it linked to the Government early warning system. It is a pedometer. It counts steps. There is one button so, when you press it, it clears the screen and it counts steps again. If you forget to reset it, it continues where it left off counting steps and it counts more steps. Brilliant.

Great, but ....
Works brilliantly, loved it, and really accurate. However, I had suspicions about how effective the clip would be. I then lost it while I was out, but luckily found it. Lost it again today, so I'm without a pedometer. Reluctant to buy again because of clip.

Accurate!
A really good pedometer. If you want to measure your steps accurately don’t trust your phone or (in my case) your Garmin smart watch. I did a walking test today and came up with the following results: Garmin Watch: 2348 Phone: 2176 Pedometer: 2272 Digital Counter: 2268 The Digital Counter was clicked manually for every step and you can see the pedometer was just 4 steps different. To be honest the watch and phone aren’t that bad but if it’s accuracy you’re after the pedometer should be the right choice. I think one of the main selling points is that the pedometer doesn’t measure the first ten steps unless you exceed that (then it’s defined as a walk). The watch measures all sorts of movements even when I’m just bimbling around the house so when you go out it thinks you’ve already done about 800 steps! The phone, on the other hand, isn’t on me all the time. When I’m home it’s sitting on the table so doesn’t measure anything. The pedometer is well made as well. It has a solid construction and the belt clip is robust. The screen is large and clear as well. I like it!

Exactly what I was looking for. Simple and sturdy. No charging or apps or monthly subscriptions or passwords. Love going analog as much as possible and this pedometer is perfect!!!

Mooi groot scherm.
