I dont know what other devices could cause interference. But the solution is simple just keep your phone 2 feet away. For those considering these cables, it might be worth noting this issue, especially if you plan to use them in a setting with numerous electronic devices around. While other, more expensive cables might offer better shielding, these Cable Matters XLR cables are a great choice if you're looking for a balance between quality and affordability.
