Good buy. Minor "could be betters"
I wasn't sure I would like this case. I got the iPhone XR recently and was constantly worried for the first few days that I would drop it and break it. I thought maybe the phone case was really thick from photos, but I didn't realize my iPhone 6 was thin and the XR is fatter. So it's not the case being bulky, it's just the phone being thicker. It feels nice to hold. The phone kept slipping off my leg and seemed precarious constantly without the case. But the case is smooth and I guess has "grip" but doesn't feel grippy, it actually feels 'soft' I suppose. I like holding it.It has a little lip around the top. That isn't a huge requirement for me. If the phone falls flat on it's face, there'd be that centimeter that would hit, not the glass. If it fell on a rock though, that little lip is going to do nil. So placebo comfort I guess. I have noticed, lint or little bits of dust stuffs are getting into the edge of the lip around the face of the phone. So I'd say it looks "dirty" where that little centimeter lip is. I guess take it off and wipe that stuff away, it comes on and off very easy.Without a Home button, your swipe up from the bottom on the XR. This was new for me, but it's great. Well there's that centimeter lip of the case again--Right where your finger wants to be.I have adapted to not always putting my thumb at the very bottom of the screen like I was doing naturally, before the phone case. I had considered getting a file and trying to file down a little parabala U indent on the bottom of the case (above the charging port) where the new "home scroll up" target area is so that then the centimeter lip would be filed down flush to the end of the phone and my finger/thumb wouldn't constantly be swiping over that centimeter lip on the bottom every time. I still might try to do that, but I don't want to hurt the case. If I hold the phone towards a 15*/20* angle (towards my head away from the ground) my thumb will usually not hit the centimeter lip on the home swipe function. When I hold the phone at a flat angle 0* angle (or maybe -5*/-10* degree angled towards the ground a teeny bit) I seem to still hit the centimeter lip on the home swipe function every time. When they designed the case, I feel like they didn't consider the home swipe function. I'd like to just file that area down to get rid of it. Buuuuutttt.. does it look horrible and ruin the case? (strong risk) Maybe I shouldn't. Is it enough of a bother? (ish) Can I just hold the phone tilted up always? probably. Not sure if that's a cause to not buy the case. Just pointing it out.The back has a few marks already. I've had the case like two weeks. (perceptibly imperceptible?) I can tell because the light doesn't reflect on those marked areas, and they appear darker in reflected light (light absorbed) or lighter in turned away from light source (top blacker surface rubbed off w/ lighter colored surface underneath). That's not an issue for me. I'm just stating it as fact. Scuffed slightly on something. I call it a mark, not a scratch. I don't know how the two little ones got there. Not sure they'd show up in a photo, but visible to me.Other commented on the carbon fiber strips on the back. I don't know. I guess they make it look stylish, modern and sharp. It interrupts the back from being completely boring flat black, so that's nice. I don't believe they service gripping the phone or structural integrity. The Apple logo is in the center of the open space. Perhaps the first 500 models it was not. They obviously corrected it. No one else seems to have that complaint after the first few. Oddly enough, I'm always afraid to touch the open circle now. I feel like poking someone's belly button. Then I remember, it's just the back of the phone, apple logo, i didn't just smudge a camera or put a finger where it shouldn't go. It's not a feature I care about. If the entire back were sealed and the apple logo wasn't displayed, I'd be happy. But some people like stuff like that.Buttons work fine.Sides feel sturdy.I feel like corners would do fine on a drop to sidewalk/tile floor.Cheap price.Feels nice. Some thought into making the design not boring.I'd say I'm well satisfied. Not worried at all about phone slipping out of my hand. Pragmatist in me says "good times." I debated too long looking at more expensive cases and about how I might not like this case. It's great. Glad I didn't pay more. Good buy.

Gets the Job Done just Fine
I've had this case for a few weeks now, and it is working as good as I had hoped.Pros:- The case is a great thickness, providing protection for your phone, without tons of added bulk- The camera on the back sits flush with the case, so your phone won't wobble on surfaces- The case was extremely easy to slip on. You don't have to wrestle with it to get it on- The buttons on the case perfectly align with the buttons on the phone- There's plenty of room around the plug-in portCons:- The case material provides only a decent non-slip grip. The case certainly makes me feel like the phone is sliding out of my hands FAR less than without the case, but the material is still fairly smooth, so you'll find the phone slowly sliding through your grip.- The circle revealing the Apple logo is just slightly off-centered- The case is a bit cumbersome to get off (I feel like I'm wrestling with it, almost like I'm having to bend my phone in half)Overall, though, if you're looking for a simple, effective case that doesn't add too much bulk to your phone, this is a great buy. I'd originally purchased it with the intent to later buy one that had more bulk to it, but I think I'll be sticking to this one.

Another outstanding Speigin case
I don’t Normally write reviews but I really felt the need to on this one. Several reviews have stated the logo on the back is off centered, I’m not quite sure how important a millimeter If that is worth commenting on. My case the logo is perfectly centered with the exception of the bottom of the Apple logo is a little bit lower than the top but I believe that it is to make sure that the little stem of the Apple logo was in the right spot. Do not let that stop you from buying one of the best known companies case that’s made for the iPhone XR. This case is perfect in all ways necessary to protect your very nice phone and I would believe That 99.9% of the reviewer‘s feel the same way. So for $12 there is no way you can go wrong with this case unless you use a magnifying glass to inspect every portion of the manufacturing of this case. I highly recommend this case to anybody that has the iPhone XR
