Beginner-Friendly and Gets the Job Done
Iβll start by saying I am very much not a golfer, this is literally my first club. A neighbor has been nudging me to give golf a try, so this was purchased purely as a low pressure way to practice and see if I even enjoy the basics before going any further. From that lens, it does exactly what I need it to do. I swing it, it makes contact with the ball, and the ball moves in a generally forward-ish direction. That alone feels like a massive win at this stage. The club feels solid in hand, not flimsy or toy-like, and nothing about it feels cheap or questionable from a durability standpoint. Grip is comfortable enough for extended practice without feeling awkward or slippery, and the overall balance feels reasonable, at least coming from someone with zero refined expectations. Since I donβt have the experience to compare this to higher end or specialty clubs, I wonβt pretend to comment on nuanced performance traits. What I can say is that for learning basic mechanics, timing, and just getting used to swinging a club, it feels perfectly approachable and unintimidating. It lets me focus on fundamentals instead of worrying about whether Iβm using something βtoo advancedβ or poorly made. If youβre an experienced golfer looking for precision feedback, this review probably left you wanting. But if youβre a beginner, a casual dabbler, or someone like me who just wants to see if golf is even going to stick, this feels like a solid, no stress starting point. Itβs doing its job so far, and until my expertise extends beyond βball goes forward,β thatβs all Iβm asking of it. And for those casual dabblers/newbies who might be asking what made me start with a 5 wood? This feedback that I got: "For beginners, a 5-wood tends to be more forgiving than a driver and often easier to hit cleanly than long irons. The larger clubhead, lower center of gravity, and added loft help get the ball airborne without requiring perfect swing speed or contact. That alone makes early practice feel more rewarding instead of frustrating. Compared to a driver, a 5-wood is usually easier to control and less punishing on mis-hits. Compared to a 3-wood, itβs typically easier to launch and doesnβt demand as much precision. Many newer players find they can make more consistent contact with a 5-wood both off a tee and from the fairway." Is all that true? I have no clue lol.

An excellent fairway wood, producing perfect shots, with a stiffer shaft for faster swingers.
The COOLO golf fairway wood has a well-balanced feel and impact. Iβve used the club on the driving range and on the course locally and it has not disappointed. The club head is weighted nicely (see my photos for some detailed pics), combined with a higher torque shaft, to produce a slightly higher ball launch angle. The grip is made of quality material and is not gummy. Hitting the ball off the fairway or short rough does not present a problem, and my shots are more forgiving than my previous 3W. For mid- distance par 4βs this club has drilled my shots right to the center of the fairway for my second shot to the green. The shaft of this fairway wood is rated A-6.5 for flexibility, so the club shaft is stiff and designed for my faster swing. The stiffer shaft helps me maintain the heads position at impact, so I am not hooking and slicing all over the course. The carbon fiber shaft keeps any excess vibration from mis-strikes from transmitting the shock to my wrists and hands. The more I swing this club on the driving range the more I like it. I have more control over my swing plane to keep my shots clean. PROS Stiffer shaft for my higher speed swings. Well balanced club head. Looks great in my bag. CONS None for a faster swing speed player. May challenge a slower speed swinger. RECOMMENDATION β I am recommending this COOLO 16-degree loft 3 wood based on the great results on the course. Feels great and produces repeated excellent shots.

Love this club
This 7 wood has been a great addition to my bag. As I've gotten older I've slowed down and shortened my backswing, which means less distance. As a result I have to reach for the hybrid or the 5 wood for situations that used to call for a long iron. The problem is that a 5 wood is sometimes too much and the hybrid is unpredictable in my hands. That's where this beauty comes in, and it is a beauty. The shaft is matte black and the clubhead is all black, as opposed to the silver face of my other woods. Hitting balls with it feels great--the shaft has just the right flex and the large clubhead (it's bigger than my 5 wood) produces a satisfying thwack. At first it's weird to see such high loft with a wood, but that's to be expected with the 22 degree face (compared with 18 on my 5 wood). Overall, a great club for long par 3s and attacking the green on par 5s.

Perfect for the average golfer
The COOLO 16-degree loft 3-wood delivers a well-balanced feel and consistent performance is a great balance. Itβs perfect for the average golfer which is what I am. The weighted club head and higher-torque shaft create a solid over all club. So far I have just tested this at the range from which it performed well. The carbon fiber shaft makes this pretty durable and the grip is high quality and comfortable. It comes with a club cover to keep it clean and prevents it from getting dinged up. I give this five stars as for the average golfer , it works very well
