uxcell Keyless Drill Chuck MT3 Morse Taper Mount Adjustable 1/32"-1/2" (1mm-13mm) 3-Jaw for Lathes Milling Drilling Machine

Bought to use in my home shop on my wood lathe tail stock. I’m ordering 2 more, one to use on the drive side and the other to replace the stock one on my ShopFox drill press. I use the USA Jacobs original at work, they are awesome but they also cost about $325. These are 1/10 the price and I would say 98% of the quality. It works flawlessly, the paws are machined extremely well, whichever Chinese factory made these is doing excellent work!

For the price you cant beat the quality of this chuck. Operates very smooth. Nice appeal. It looks and works flawless. I will deffaintly buy another one just to have.

Replaced the factory chuck and arbor that came with my brand new drill press with this one, the stock chuck and arbor that was supplied with my drill press was horrible as most are, what a difference, it’s night and day in performance. The one I installed has very little run out and the action on the chuck is buttery smooth. I can’t believe the cost of this compared to some more pricier options. As far as longevity, I don’t see this wearing out all to soon, the machining seems to be very good. I was a bit leery because of the price being so reasonable, but this set up has exceeded my expectations. I don’t think you can go wrong with this one.

For the money - this drill chick is near unbeatable. This is perfect for center drills. Keep it “loaded” and near the lathe, stored in a collet rack. The depth is a bit odd so longer drill bits and reamers may not work but likely shouldn’t be used in this holder anyway. Fit and finish is surprising for the money and the MT3 taper (with a tang) is well sized.

Worked great with both my drill press and my metal lathe.

I needed to perfection-precision clean "both sides" to get the chuck to stay in, but clean and dry plus a couple taps and stays in just fine. Works perfectly and amazingly perfectly true. Killer value!

I was worried that the drill bit would spin in the chuck since it’s keyless. I haven’t used the chuck very much but the times that I did there was never an issue of spinning. I like that I don’t have a chuck key. It’s quicker and way more convenient.

Needed a new drill chuck for my lathe, hesitant about the price being 1/10 of the local equipment dealer here in Ontario but am very glad that I did order it. The chuck is top quality and a perfect fit in the lathe. 100% pleased.

This keyless chuck with MT3 shank arrived early. I'm using it on my 1440 Tida Lathe. Seems to be of very good quality, the barrel rotates very smoothly & has a really strong grip on drill bits I'm very pleased with this purchase! I'm going to order another one for my Milling Machine.
