First of all, this is functional. Because it holds spoon/soup ladles, etc. upright, it doesn't take counter or table space. Secondly, the design is impressive. I never think of spoon rests as being stylish, but this one is. to clean, just pop the ceramic bowl into the dishwasher, and wipe off the metal parts. (Stores well too) I was so pleased to find this on Amazon, as I like to give this item as part of a bridal shower gift, and many stores don't seem to stock these anymore.

I like the way this looks on my counter and its functional, easy to clean -throw it in the dishwasher. It doesn't take up much space . I actually had one just like it from years ago. The ceramic finally broke and I could not believe when I was able to find the same one again to buy.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister. She needed a spoon rest to fit in a very small space right next to her stove. The spoon rests that lay flat wouldn't fit, so when I saw this I immediately bought it! It more than met mine & my sister's expectations! It's very well crafted, looks great, works like a charm, easy to clean, & worth every dollar spent! I'll be buying one for mine & my mom's kitchens asap! If you're looking for the perfect spoon rest...look no further!! :)

After dropping my old spoon rest, Again, I realized it was more super glue than anything else so maybe I should get a new one. This one stood out and I liked the "stand up" style. Pros: looks great, bowl pops out for easy cleaning, stand up design so less likely to burn your hand reaching for your utensil. Cons: too small for my spatula, I have an above the range microwave so handles can be too long to leave on the stove and use.

The spoon rest is the perfect size, easy to clean, and matches very well with the stainless and black appliances. The upright rest is very sturdy and stable. Bought as a gift because my friend was complaining she needed something upright and not just any rest would do, it's perfect and she loves it!

This looks great - very sleek yet still easily fits into just about any kitchen. Obviously has a very modern style to it yet it works great in our anything-but-modern kitchen. Also looks great in my dads super modern kitchen (no shocker there). So in terms of style & appearance - definitely 5 stars. Another huge perk is the compact style it has. Unfortunately...when it comes to the actual use of this it falls a bit short. It doesn't handle ladles too well (even the small ones) and it definitely doesn't do turners (or big spatulas as most people refer to them). You can barely even rest the handle on the counter & try to balance the cooking end in the bowl - since the bowl isn't wide enough to accommodate most of them. We already have 2 other spoon rests that I'm able to use (or of course the counter...that always works), and this one looks nice enough & is compact enough that it still is on our counter despite it's lack of functionality. But if it was just a bit wider that would make a huge difference - it would provide the depth needed to accommodate more ladles & maybe even be kinda useful with some turners too.

I actually don't use this item as a spoon holder. I have it by the sink and hang the dishcloth on it. I don't like hanging a dishcloth from the faucet or draped over the sink centre. But I also don't want to just leave the dishcloth laying on the countertop. So this spoon holder is the perfect solution. It allows the dishcloth to dry and it can collect water (if any) in the little bowl.

This spoon rest is lovely. All types of utensils will rest on it without falling over. Also it’s slim but sturdy structure sits out of the way of a crowded cooktop. Most of my pot lids can rest on it except of course a large dutch oven pot lid without slipping off. I’m very happy I bought this.
