I communicated with the seller to enquire if there were any marks on the book and they were very quick to respond. Even though the book was described as "Used, Very Good" it could have been brand new. It arrived very quickly and I am very happy with my purchase.

A beautiful translation, and the notes are great...BUT (and it is a big 'but"): there are jarring, inexcusable grammatical errors. Specifically (and you just need to start reading through the book of Romans to discover this, as I did) the lack of apostrophes. 'Gods' instead of 'God's'. Every single time, AFAICT. At the price point this Bible is set up, such basic proofreading errors are completely unacceptable.

The Bible is good but I wish it was a paper version rather than a kindle version as it is not easy to go to the section you want to check likeJohn 1: 1 - 14. It is easier to use the Bible on a phone rather than on the Kindle.

Best Catholic bible I've ever had. Solid translation. Study notes are super helpful and everything is referenced back to the Catechism. Its a must for every Catechist.

First, I like the RSV edition. It didn't try to make the language more acceptable. Also the notes relate to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. If you're Catholic this may be the only Bible yoo'll need.

The best Bible I have possessed so far. Beyond expectations.

I originally wrote:"Excellent bible resource and faithful to the majesterium." and gave the Didache bible 5 stars.However after doing more research comparing what the catholic church traditionally teaches, some of the introductory essays to the books in the bible, call into question matters of the Catholic faith, that the writings are not the inspired word of God, since it questions the authorships. The Pontifical Biblical Commission under the authority of the majestium declared the authorship of Genesis, Isaiah and Daniel to be true, as well as Paul writing the book of hebrews and 2 Peter.While footnotes and apologetical essays are faithful to the majesterium, the authors took liberties in using the modernist historical critical method to write about these books, which casts doubt on the faith.This bible has gotten rave reviews, however modernists are wolves in sheep's clothing and do dodgey things like this.

Wish it had pictures and larger print but it is a great book!
