Bilstein (33-185552) 5100 Series Shock Absorber Review: Offroading - Great for offloading with R2 Nissan pathfinder or infiniti QX4 Review: Boot on bottom - I ordered these for the rear set after I lifted my R50 pathfinder. They aren't quite as stiff as my old k.y.b. shocks so I thought I was going to dislike them. However, after I installed and drove on them, I absolutely love them. They just feel more responsive or something. I also learned that the boot goes on the bottom because the bilstein label needs to be upright when you read it. I haven't had any issues with them hitting the panhard bar like some guys claim. To me, they are worth the $. We have bilsteins on all 3 of our rigs now and they are my favorite as far as daily driving ride quality.

The Perfect Shock for You!!!
I run these bad boys on my 2011 GMC Canyon Crew Cab 4x4 SLT and couldn't be happier with them! Bilstein is definitely an amazing company! The quality of these is great and they are much more responsive than my previous Rancho shocks. I needed longer shocks when I lifted my truck more and got a bigger tire, so I was recommended these shocks by some other Chevy Colorado owners and I am glad I got them! I definitely recommend this shock! Granted some modding needed to be done to run them, but it wasn't anything major and was well worth it! These are part of the 5100 series shocks for lifted trucks and they get the job done! Bilstein is the best!!! :)

Application information inaccurate
The information said these would fit on the front of a 1977-78 Toyota Landcruiser FJ45. I did install them, with great difficulty. After loweing the vehicle to the ground, I realized that they were too long, leaving virtually no upwards suspension travel. So they came back off. It turns out that they are for the rear of the same truck, or for the front if one has a lift installed. I ended up ordering and installing a set of shorter 5100 series shocks that do appear to fit properly. Thanks Amazon for accepting my return of the first set. Several hours wasted, however.

Great product
This helped me blazer ride so much smoother. Itโs no longer bouncing like it was. I highly recommend this product.
