I made the mistake of buying mini curtain lights in pink and turned out purple-pink. Which is acceptable but meh. I noticed that all the truly pink decorations I love have these matchstick LED lights, so I tried again. This is it. They may not be as small as fairy lights, but it's the correct color. Not red, not purple, but pink. Dimmable. Timer if you want it. Same 8 modes as usual. The fade modes are shaky though. I suggest using the fade/breathing modes on the dimmest setting and make sure there's no "heater" or "electric blanket" on the same circuit. That will make almost all LED lights freak out and flicker. It's not a defect, it's just the way circuits work. It has a long plug in lead. You can use most functions just by the button on the plug. You can buy it in 10 foot segments and join them together, so they synchronize. I'm using them for a Pink Christmas room makeover.

I LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!! These lights have made a big difference in my home. I put them up in my bedroom down the wall at the head of my bed. I chose the orange color because it's more of a warm feeling in the room and it's just perfect!! The remote makes is so nice to use to turn them off at night. No more bright lights in my room which are so intrusive to the eyes and brain before you go to sleep. But when you have this warm glow it's such a calming effect in the room. They are calming yet they light the room up enough to not need any other light. Installation was a breeze, so easy! They don't have those big hooks that some lights have, the header is simple and flush with the wall. I just used thumbtacks to put them up and you only see the lights you don't see any gaudy hooks. It took me less than 10 minutes to put these up. The quality is great as well as the price! I'm very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend them!

I bought the 900LED version. The reason its rated as a 3 star is the product came with no real instructions and the setup process meticulous with the plastic pieces, hooks, and microscopic screws. For the price point that part should have already been put together. And after all of that one strand on the end was not working. Disappointed but kept the product. The concept is very cool and my kids love it so we are keeping it.

This may be the first review of the 900 LED option here. The display area is 57" x 57". There are 30 columns with 30 RGB LEDs each. This yields 0.277 pixels per square inch, which is way better than typical options at this size. Models with 440-441 LEDs only have 0.104 pixels per square inch. The higher resolution was worth it--the animations have much more discernable detail. It is very bright. I tested it on my garage floor with lights on and also posted a video of it installed from the street about 40 feet away. The wiring description is slightly off, or backwards: The lead between the LEDs and the control box is about 7", and the lead from the control box to the AC transformer is about 9'. After installing all the hooks along the top, I decided to mount the whole system to two 6' pieces of wood (one at the top and bottom) to make it easier to mount. Using the remote control to change the LED curtain to the pre-configured animations is easy. I intended to just use this for Christmas options, and Santa riding the reindeer is funny. I installed the "Hello Fairy" app from the Google Play store, but haven't tinkered with it much yet.
