worth every penny
Absolutely love this machete. It was sharp and ready to go out of the box but I sharpened it extra. Really makes clearing brush incredibly easy.

A durable and lasting product
I love how thick the blade is it makes it really easy to cut thicker objects like branches under brush ect

Coghlans machete
I bought this Coghlans machete and thought that it will be some kind of real machete. But first disappointment was the plastic handle, which is very weak. The blade is made from carbon steel and every time you use it, if it will be not cleaned becomes rusty! So you are buying what it costs! So, next my purchase was Rose Ebony Machete, which is really good one.

Duller than the back of a butter knife
You get what you pay for. If you don’t mind spending a few hours sharpening before using it’s a great deal. If you’re not up to sharpening first you will experience frustration like trying to cut down a tree with a hammer.

Less than expected

50 at walmart perfect price for something ill use once
I needed a machete to help my friend with some yardwork. So i figured hey $8.50 at walmart perfect price for something ill use once. I pulled this out of the package and the edge is non existing but the edge is ground at weird angles and it wont cut a stick

Die Machete ist toll, nur der Griff ist ein wenig zu kurz geraten, für meine großen Hände und gleitet daher ein wenig aus der Hand Man kann alle nieder strecken was einem in den Weg kommt, ein wenig nachgeschliffen, schlägt man alles kurz und klein!

La verdad lo compre por la funda, por el precio que pague pense que iba a ser de decente calidad pero NO, muy pero muy corriente, cualquier machete de ferreteria de pueblo tiene mejor calidad y cuestan 70 pesos, y ya afilado. Este te lo entregan sin filo

Not great, pitted blade not sharp at all. Wouldn't spent more than $8 on this. Luckily I got it for $10 so I don't feel too bad.

They sheath is poorly stitched together, the handle feels weak, the blade was VERY poorly sharpened. (Chipped and blueing, I could do better with a grinder) but it does the job so far
