Finally - sandals that will take custom orthotics
These sandals are very comfortable, especially because I can use my custom orthotics (which are large and fairly bulky). I didn't think I'd find a pair of sandals I could wear. The footbed is held in place with velcro, which is another nice plus. I cover my orthotics with Peds and they stick nicely in place, and you can't really tell they're there. The first day I wore them, there were no rub spots or sore places, no "breaking in," just comfort. I did have to adjust the lacing a bit, as my feet tend to swell as the day goes on, but there's plenty of adjustability. Nice for someone like me who has extremely (and I mean EXTREMELY) high arches/instep.Lastly, I rated these shoes as running "somewhat large." Because I have very wide feet, finding shoes that fit usually means going up in size. That wasn't necessary with these, so to me that means they run a little large (if that makes sense).I will certainly look for other shoes in this brand, now that I know how well made they are and how nicely they fit.

Great fit, Great shoes!
I have never been able to buy shoes online. I have too much trouble with shoes that hurt my feet. Amazon caught me in a weak moment with one of those "We think you'll like this item" notices that pop up. These shoes are GREAT! I have never worn this brand before. I wear a 10 and these are a perfect size 10. I was cautious because of the reviewer who had trouble with the back that rubbed her. I did notice that initially, but wore them around for an hour and that backing softened right up. They are comfortable, attractive, and I'm keeping them!

A comfortable sandal
This is a great sandal! It is true to fit, stylish and very comfortable. Wish it came in more colors!

Narrow and flat feet
I really do like Aravon shoes. I'm actually between a 7 & 7.5. I purchased the 7 narrow due to reviews that they run big. Yes, they do. A 6.5 would have worked; however, I kept the 7 narrow. They are a tad long (no one would notice but me), and so very comfortable and the arch did not cause fatigue after wearing them all day. I was so happy to find these shoes for a great price (I purchased 3 different styles). Wish they had the red in my size. My experience with past purchases is that Aravon shoes run on the short side. Glad I looked at the reviews. If you want stylish, durable, and comfortable shoes then you should try Aravon.

Very forgiving fit. Super Cute. CRAZY uncomfortable.
These are super cute in person and since they lace up, you can really customize the fit. Given these two things, I wanted to LOVE these shoes. However, the back comes up way too high and rubs on the back of the foot with every step. It is a serious design flaw to an otherwise great shoe, in my opinion. Honestly, they were so uncomfortable and rubbed so badly that I had red places on the back of my feet after just wearing them across the room.Sadly, these had to be returned. Thankfully Amazon had a great return policy with them.

Quality Made Shoe, Good For Wide Feet
Quality made shoe. Adjustable laces for foit width. Footbed is appropriately sized for wide width. Extra height on back of shoe which fits higher on back of ankle and also deep enough for orthodics. Shoe is attractive and fits well. I have other Aravon shoes which have held up well and fit appropriately. I have lymphedema and one foot is slightly larger so these work perfect for me. Able to wear all day when u received them and were very comfortable. Alittle high priced but good shoes are a must for me and thankful i was able to purchase them.

Great style, fits perfectly
Very comfortable, with plenty of support and being adjustable is a big selling point for me. I was so happy to see this style again, as I had a pair like these, except in white, in 1968 and someone stole the elastic laces out of them in the hospital while I was giving birth! It took forever to find replacements, but it was worth the hunt. The hospital workers all swore that I must have come in without them, since they certainly did not have any thieves on staff! It’s still funny that anyone could seriously think I would have been able to keep them on my feet with no laces.

Order if you don’t mind paying the Restocking Fee for returns! (Not for Greek Feet!)
These shoes are a gorgeous rich crimson red: think Ralph Lauren’s “Red” or Vera Bradley’s “Cardinal.” These are a beautiful wedge ghillie shoe with a classic elegant look that pairs well with dress pants, dresses or dark jeans; although they’re called a sandal, I consider them to be more of a classic dress shoe (I can’t think of a closed heel shoe as a sandal). I was looking forward to wearing them with 40’s-esque swing dresses! The lace-up cutout style of this ghillie is old fashioned and elegant. I usually wear a 7.5M or 8M in dress shoes (with stockings, always) and these fit me near-perfectly in the 8M. They are almost the same fit as the Aravon Clarissa shoes I own: except the laces make these impossible to fit perfectly. With them laced tight enough for my foot to not slide out (with back-of heel cushions: I have slim heels) it's next to impossible not to have the toe box laced too tight so that it pinches the toe knuckles together. I have Greek Feet: people with their joints better aligned might not have found the lacing such a problem. Almost perfect, for me, but not quite. Returned!I cannot give the experience of buying these shoes five stars. The convenience of trying new shoe styles at home — with free returns if they didn’t work out — had converted me to shopping on Amazon for shoes instead of trekking around the mall. In this case, because of multiple customer reviews stating that the shoes ran a half or a whole size large, I ordered three sizes to try at home, intending to return the ones that didn’t fit. The shoes are sold by Virtual Exchanges Inc. and they slapped me with a “20% restocking fee” despite the “free returns” advertised when one makes a purchase. I therefore do not recommend anyone order any pair of shoes from Virtual Exchanges Inc, unless they are "fulfilled by Amazon," are positive they will be keeping them, or don’t mind paying a restocking fee.
