This combo was a must have for me when making my own pie dough. It's made of thick stell so won't nend, break, or rust over time. Beautiful to look at and well made to last and works so well with all the dough. I make two crusts at a time and the dough is thick. The blender just cuts right through the dough to mix well for the perfect crust. The cutter came in handy to cut the dough in half so I had enough for each pie crust. The blender is easy to grip and will not slip in your hand. It's even big enough for my sons very large hands ( extra large glove size), yet small enough for my small hands as I wear a small to medium size. The quality is much better than my old one that I lost somewhere over the years. They clean up easily. I hand wash as there is no dishwasher here. This just might turn out to be an heirloom.

I really like this "bench scrapper" tool. It is sturdy, sharp (enough for cutting tough veggies), and is well-constructed (the joint between the handle and the metal doesn't have any significant gap). I use this for cleaning off my counter after having dough stick to it. Much easier than trying to clean it using a wet cloth. I'm sorta pleased with the pastry cutting tool. It still bends when I use it with hard butter, but not as much as my old pastry cutter. I can bend it back. But I've decided to use it mostly with softer things that need to be cut. It is very comfortable for me to hold it in my hand, which is larger than many. I ordered the larger size. If I had just ordered the pastry cutter I would have given this a three-star or maybe a four-star rating, but I really like the heavy-duty bench scraper, so that earns the whole package a five-star rating.

Great craftsmanship on these pieces. They fit my hands well but if you have small hands they may be a bit too large for you. Great deal for baking essentials.

Love these, very sturdy and easy to use

Good quality steel. I like to make biscuits from scratch and these tools make it much easier to do.The cutter has several different sizes fron doughnut hole to I guess a 3 inch biscuit. A well made product and the prime shipping was fast.

Works great

The set is packaged very nicely in a box. The dough blender and bench scraper are made of high quality, heavy duty stainless steel. The dough blender that I received had some rough edges at the bottom of the blades which I was afraid would damage my mixing bowl. I emailed the company and Brian responded within a few hours of my sending the email. He sent me a replacement. Although, I have not had a chance to use the dough blender the intended use, cutting in frozen chopped butter into flour, I did test it on a whole stick of butter that was just taken out from the refrigerator. I managed to push the dough blender through the stick of cold butter. The blades did not bend or move apart when going through the cold butter. The dough blenders that I’ve seen in the stores, most of their blades are not as sturdy as the Spring Chef dough blender and the blades would probably moved a bit going through the stick of butter. The bench scraper was kind of an after thought for purchasing since initially I did not think I would have a need for it. It is nice to use to transfer chopped items from the cutting board. It also made it easier to transfer sliced kiwi from the cutting board. I also liked the rounded corners so that way you don’t accidentally gouge the counter or cutting board when using it to pick up or scrape. It is also made very sturdy. This set is very well made and there is also excellent customer service to support the products. The company also sends a pdf for other uses for the products before I even received the set. If you need a sturdy dough blender and bench scraper, this is a great set to consider.

These kitchen tools are sturdy and of good quality. I haven't used them yet--just arrived and no pie ingredients on hand! I'm very satisfied with the feel. They will be easy to hold on to even with flour all over my hands. The set was very reasonably priced.

I received the product earlier than expected. I find both tools useful for cooking and baking. The masher is also useful to mash potato, squash and other ingredients in soup. It is good to have in the kitchen.

It came damaged

I like them both pieces very much!

Came in already bent, had to straighten it out. When using the pastry cutter, the handle rotates and one of the screw cannot be tighten and just turns forever. Would not buy again.
