Awesome sharpener. It put a polished edge on all my knives. The belts seem to get dirty quickly but they are still sharpening after I sharpened 10 knives and two pairs of scissors. I’m an amateur and couldn’t get the hang of a whetstone but with his I don’t think I need to learn. It’s definitely pricey but I think the build quality and performance makes it worth it.

I really love this sharpener! I was able to finish an entire kitchen knife set in less than an hour. Anything by Worksharp is well built and does a great job. Its easy to set up and its not much of a learning curve so you can get going pretty fast. I just wish it came with a carry case, otherwise its a wonderful tool!

Been looking for sharpening tools or or services for a while, after watching on-line videos on the product and having a chance to use it - I have to say I picked the right tool. I do recommend their videos on best practices as they're much easier to understand than just the manual. With the right technique, which took a little to learn, it works great. I managed to put a top quality sharp edge on an almost ruined kitchen knife, and once i did that I moved on to our more expensive knives. My wife was very impressed with the restored sharpness of our entire knife set, and I too am happy to once again be able to cook with truly sharp knives. I moved on to sharpening some other tools and knives (some of which were never sharp) and it continued to work great. The adjustability and options to fine tune the sharpening angle on this model are great. The sharpener seems well built, and easy to use evn if it takes a little practice to get right. If you use your knives and tools a lot - this is a great way to extend thier usefull life, improve their performance - the tool is a great value.

I’ve been afraid to sharpen my 250.00 Shun 8 inch Chef knife. This thing had it razor sharp in a matter of minutes. Also did my victorinox deboning and filet knives in a few minutes. Then 3 pocket knives. It seriously only took about 35 minutes. It takes longer to change the belts than it does to run the knives run through. Read the directions and take your time and don’t apply too much pressure and let the sharpener do the work. Id give it 10 stars if I could.

Bought this for my 80 yr old father. No problem what so ever. He loves it and has sharpened every knife in the home. Every knife in His Kids homes, and most of the neighbors knives . Still has all his fingers , it’s very safe and user friendly. It was a great gift .
