My favorite
I own 2 40mm. Both have same eye relief and FOV. A Svbony and this one I ordered for my removable guide scope To my surprise this one actually outperforms the Svbony. If also appears to have a bit better FOV. It has been a pleasant surprise at a lower price.

Wider angle view
Gives a wider view angle and easier camera usability due to the large lense diameter.,

Great utility lense for star hopping
Skill level: Beginner Telescope: AWB Onesky 130/650mm f/5 Honestly, I'm so inexperienced with telescopes and lenses that I really shouldn't be writing a review. I am, however, proficient at researching products and mature enough to accept that my experience with this lens might be fundamentally different than someone else's experience with a lens of exceptional quality. With telescope lenses you really do get what you pay for. All that being said...There was that wow factor when I took my first look through it. By design my telescope is considered a wide field scope, which means, combined with this lense, you can see a lot of stars in the lens view. Especially looking directly into the Milky Way. But wait there's more...This lense is a great utility for star hopping and searching through a general location for DSO's. I did, though, frame all of Pleiades into the view. If you're a novice, like me, and on a restrictive budget, also like me, then this lense is a good choice for star hopping and getting pretty views of the sky.

Great eyepiece for the price.
Its a great eyepiece for the price. I bought it to give my barlows more options, but I have been using it more than my other eyepieces. It is especially great for searching for nebula, and clusters.

Nice ep for the $
Sturdy build with good relief and image. Can’t go wrong for the price if you’re looking for this focal length

Eyepiece arrived with broken lens
Package showed no damage but the bottom half of the eyepiece was unscrewed and lenses inside were loose. Looking through it there was a huge chip out of a lens.
