Fantastic Value
Arrived extremely well-packaged. Be prepared for a pass-the-parcel style unpacking with the boxes. This is great, as it meant the tablet was very well protected. It came with the pen, extra nibs, a drawing glove, and charger. It feels like drawing on paper, which is strange but familiar at the same time. Accuracy is pretty good so far, there are a couple of moments where it doesn't line up, but overall it's good. The value for money for this size standalone tablet (14") with everything it has is fantastic! Highly recommend.

I was skeptical but went ahead and purchased the UGEE UT3 (Trio Pad/Fun Drawing Pad - both are the same product). It arrived quickly (next day) and was very well packaged. Not only was the tablet in it's own box, but that was in the primary product packaging box, and that, too, was in another box. The outside box had it's own padding inside to protect the contents. The second-tier box had padding, too. The final box with the tablet also had padding on the lid directly over the actual tablet. This thing was very well protected and I appreciated it. The tablet fired right up and the pen was instantly recognized. After getting it all set up (Wifi, etc.) I was ready to go! The pen didn't need calibration out of the box as the pen cursor matched perfectly to the pen. Nice! The screen is bright and the colors vibrant. Again ... nice! Firing up a drawing app (I'd downloaded Infinite Paint for my test), I found the UGEE UT3 to be very responsive and noticed no real lag at all. For sketching and painting, this is a great tablet! Before receiving it, I was prepared to not like it and was ready to return it. Now? Well, there's no way I'm returning this tablet! It's that nice. I've had the XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad (MDP). And while that's a nice tablet, it falls short (IMO) when compared to the UGEE UT3. The UT3 has a 14" screen compared to the MDP's 12". The UT3's screen resolution is higher. Unlike the MDP, the UT3's pen cursor is properly calibrated so you don't need to offset it (like you do in the MDP). The UT3's CPU is more robust than the one that ships with the MDP. The UT3 uses Android 14 while MDP is stuck on 12. Overall, the UT3 is just ... better. It's even less expensive than the MDP. Having said that, there's a few areas where it falls short: - The pen needs to be charged. This is not the case for the MDP (and some other drawing tablets). - There is no expansion slot for micro SD cards to expand storage. As with any Android tablet, you're 'stuck' using Android apps. However, there are a few great apps that allow you to use your Android tablet as an extended monitor for your PC or Mac. I tested EasyCanvas 2025, an app that does just that (makes the tablet an extended monitor for my PC). I was able to use my PC's software as if the UT3 were a wireless Wacom pen display! Fantastic! Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Another reviewer said there was no warranty. Well, mine came with a warranty card right in the box. UGEE is not a shady company. The parent company, Hanvon UGEE, owns both XP-Pen and UGEE.

It has no lag, no parallax, turns off screen automatically to save battery, no line wobble for slowly drawn lines, slowly drawn straight lines come out straight. Those straight lines are the main advantage of this portable pen display. It comes with two drawing apps that are good enough for creating figures. Very thin and lightweight, battery lasts several days so far, we'll see how long the battery lasts after more recharging. For the price, it's quite good. The buttons are well placed and easy to use, device functions as it needs to so far, the OS is a recent Android. Pen requires charging but it is very thin and the charge lasts a while, so that is fine. Each work session, the cap of the pen need to be pressed to activate it.

I love this artist tablet! The colors are clear, the pencil responds well when drawing, and the texture of the screen is very pleasant and reminiscent of paper. It’s very easy to travel with, I even got a purse specifically to take this on the go. I did accidentally break the pen only a month or so after getting this tablet by snapping the nib off with the case when storing it away, so be mindful of the tip of the pen when inserting it into the storage area. I was able to get another one from their website for a reasonable price as well! This tablet is a good value for the money!

The battery life on this device is fantastic. While using it I can get about 5-6 hrs before needing to charge it, but I also use krita on it which is heavy on battery use. On standby, this devices battery life seems never ending. I have set it down for 3 weeks at a time forgetting to turn it off, and returned to it still charged, with about 20% battery life left. Now the pen, I don't think I have ever had that die on me while using it. The pen is also incredibly comfortable to use bc it feels like a real pen. I love this tablet, it's underrated. It is easily on par if not better than apple tablets. The screen has a paper feel, which makes drawing feel so nice, the screen is huge, and the pen is so nice and has a magnetic rest on the side of the tablet. The only issue I have is when unlocking my screen. I use a pin, and the swipe function to get to the lock screen is a bit finicky and it can get frustrating but easy fix for that is remove the pin lock. I recommend this tablet to anyone.
