Replacement Earpads for AKG K240 K241 K242 K270, K271, K272, K240 MkII, K271 Mk Headphones Sheepskin Leather Memory Foam Ear Cushions

Bought these for a pair of AKG K240 studios purchased in 2017. Stock earpads were rather cheap, firm, with poor grip to the head and hot after awhile. These are well made, fit nicely, and I sensed a touch more bass presence compared to stock. I know K240s aren't known for bass, but there was an improvement, to my surprise, whether from geometry, foam filler, or fit. The shape is a little less rounded than stock, allowing a better fit. Although relative to the headphone price, these are a little expensive, they really do improve the headphone listening experience and are more comfortable to wear than the cheap stock earpads. They come with the diaphragm cover if you need to replace that. They claim to be real animal skin, and if not, they sure are good fakes. I think they are real though. Definitely consider these if you are looking for AKG headphone replacement earpads.

I bought these as replacement pads for a pair of AKG K240 Sextett EPs I picked up. They fit perfectly and are super easy to install. They're comfy and, for now, have been as durable as I could want. They don't alter the sound at all (which is what I needed) and are perfect for my needs. They feel like pillows on my ears.

These are really nice and fit my Superlux HD 681s well. They were a pain to put on but once on fit great. I bought the 681s close to 15 yeas ago now and every time I wear out ear pads start thinking about buying a nicer set of headphones but every I find myself not able to make decision. This pair or ear pads probably just saved my old head phones for another few years. The material is really nice, much softer than the what came with the headphones. The thickness is about on par with what I remember the original pads being like, not as thick as some of the other aftermarket replacements but I like them. Overall I am really happy with this purchase even if my hands are completely worn out from putting them on.

SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! Love these headphone ear pads!!! 2nd time I've bought these, and just further supported how awesome these are!! I replaced the stock ear pads on another pair of AKG studio headphones I have, and they totally enhanced the isolation characteristics, comfort, and fidelity on the headphones. I HIGHLY recommend these!!! These Sheepskin Leather pads are super soft and increased the comfort 10 fold!! I'm a drummer, and headphone comfort from extended hours of practicing and recording are essential. The original stock pads of my headphones are very rigid, uncomfortable, and made the "Bleed-thru" acoustics very "boxy" sounding. These NEOMUSICIA ear pads turned my $250 studio headphones into a priceless essential recording tool. They improved my current headphones into better sounding headphones than some $400 headphones that I just purchased,... which I will be returning now,..... Another thing to NOTE: the first pair of NEOMUSICIA sheepskin leather ear pads I purchased 2 years ago,...are still super soft and comfortable. As many of you know,... many ear pads can harden/dry out over time, become more uncomfortable, lose isolation ability, and begin sounding worse. These NEOMUSICIA ear pads hold up much better, and for the price,.... you cannot go wrong.

Definitely more comfortable than the stock K240 Studio earpads, but they alter the sound profile pretty noticeably. Frequencies around 125Hz seem exaggerated, and even the noises my own body makes are affected: speaking and clearing my throat sounds a lot boomier than I remember with the stock pads on, and chewing tortilla chips now has an underlying thunderous rumble. Crazy how much noise comes out of our ear canals and how much can be reflected back into them with headphones on. The change in sonic character is a bit annoying, but if you're impatient a quick cut of a few dB at 125Hz will immediately solve the most egregious issue (with audio playback at least) and a little time letting your ears adjust to the subtler differences will take care of the rest.

I still have my 40+ year old AKG K240s, that for the last few years have worn a pair of cheap but passable set of velour pads. I hate velour pads lol. Ordered these on a whim, and what a major improvement. Super supple and soft, my K240s have never been this comfortable. Pads even came with the inner foam disks. Took a bit to remove all the sticky perished foam from the face of the drivers (and carefully out of the drivers themselves with fine tweezers), but afterwards they sound as good as the day they were new.

I have 2 pairs for 2 sets of K240. Sound-wise these are very close to the OEM pads. This is important as I want the maintain the sound signature. Comfort is an improvement... softer and not sweaty as OEM. They're a bit difficult to install because the material isn't as stretchy as OEM. The foam / cushion are uneven in thickness so I had to match them after a month's usage. Good value as alternative.

I like these, they're comfortable and didn't change the sound.
