I’ve been using the CircuPool RJ45+ Salt Water Chlorination System for six months, and I couldn’t be happier. This system works perfectly—exactly as advertised. I’ve had other systems in the past, but none have come close to the reliability and performance of this one. What truly sets CircuPool apart is their outstanding customer service. As someone new to working on my pool systems, I decided to install the unit myself. While the installation instructions were clear, I made a small mistake and couldn’t figure out what went wrong. When I called customer service, an actual human answered and walked me through the fix step-by-step in just minutes. The person assisting me had personal experience with the same model and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. What blew me away even more was their follow-up. A few weeks later, John from their team called me to check in and make sure the system was running smoothly. This level of care is rare and refreshing. Not only is the product excellent, but the customer service truly goes above and beyond. I’ve already recommended CircuPool to friends with pools, and I’ll continue to sing their praises. If you’re considering a saltwater system, you can’t go wrong with CircuPool. Trust me—you’ll have an amazing experience with both the product and the team behind it!

My original chlorinator failed after 13 years and my pool turned green overnight. I installed this in less than an hour. Most of that time was because I rewired the power supply so I could use an outlet. Otherwise installation was very easy. Once the cholorinator was up and running it did not take long to clear the pool up. After that the pool was crystal clear for the remainder of the season, even better that the previous unit. So far only two complaints, there is rest a feature for the cell. It controller will periodically turn the cell off to extend the life of the cell. Unfortunately it's not documented well and I thought the unit was faulty. I discovered two obscure lines int the documentation indicating the functionality. It doesn't provide much detail about how it works, but it seams to work fine. The other complaint is the plastic cover does not stay closed. The plastic catch is not very secure so the cover doesn't stay closed. I improvised with a stretchable cord to keep the cover closed and protect the controls. Some people may be turned off by this but the overall quality and functionality make up for it. Overall the unit is easy to use, easy to install and runs very well albeit after you read the fine print. I like that its meant to be installed by the owner. My pool company wanted $2,500 for a new unit plus installation. So far no regrets and I would buy it again. I will provide updates during the next pool season.

Great product, fairly easy to install if everything is already plumbed. Everything with it is straightforward, functions as expected and will save you a ton over chlorine in the long-run. I would have given it a 5-star rating but for a few shortcomings: 1. Why on earth would they sell you a product, recommend that you clean it in muriatic acid possibly 1-2 times a year and not ship with the cleaning cap??? Without the cap, they recommend cleaning in a 5-gallon bucket, which is quite wasteful and ends up with ~5 gallons of 20% solution to dispose of vs. <1 gallon with the cap. It already costs quite a bit, so adding the cap would be trivial. But no, they want you to buy is from them for $30+ (not available on Amazon). You usually won't find this out until you need to clean it and then it's too late to order & wait for it for that time. 2. There is already a rudimentary computer on it, why the heck isn't there a timer function built-in for the end user to use? Makes no sense. Had to resort back to old-school wheel timer that fortunately hadn't been removed. RTCs are cheap and there's already constant power. 3. For the cost, there should be some basic BT or WiFi built-in for monitoring and reporting. Sure, if you don't want to develop an app that's understandable, but if the feed is there someone will develop it. A simple read-only data stream is all that's needed, that way the end user can get a quick look for problems and address as quickly as they can. Other than these items (especially the missing cleaning cap!), I would say you get a pretty good product for the cost. Since the manufacturer might read this, it would also be nice to have a pH meter on the device to make it more automated and easier for the end user to adjust... heck, then the controller itself could adjust the voltage dynamically and just inform the user.

I've been using the RJ45+ since 2012 on a 20k gallon pool. The first one I bought was a refurbished one directly from Circupool. It came with a 3 year limited warranty and lasted about that long, but they still worked with me to replace it with another refurbished one. The second one lasted close to 7 years with one cell replacement during that time. Because it worked so well and was so easy to maintain, I finally decided I was going to buy a brand new one off of Amazon. Unfortunately, the cell went out after 2.5 years, but again the support team had a brand new one to me less than 5 days. Considering the cost of chlorine these days, I can only imagine how much money I've saved over the past 11 years. Other than routine cleaning, it's probably the easiest part of my pool to maintain. I live in Texas and didn't have to add chlorine or shock once during this past summer (2023). My only advice is to set money aside for cell replacements (warranty is prorated) and buy a size up. So if you have a 20k gallon pool, get the RJ45+. If you have 30k gallons, get the RJ60+.

Bought this product for my above ground and after figuring out the necessary plumbing once installed cleared my water up completely. A few months later I needed a replacement part due to cold weather and they worked with me to get what I needed with excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
