This is VERY well-made...very well made.
This spinner isn't the only one on the market, but if it isn't the one with the most heft and substance, I would be shocked. Holding this dice spinner, you can tell it's sturdy. Spinning it, you can tell it's well-engineered. The tolerance on the spin is very slightly tighter than I would prefer, but I suspect it will become a little looser over time. My extremely easy work around right now is to spin it twice without stopping, allowing it to spin easier and without as much possibility of gaming the answer. It looks extremely high quality and I have actually already used it. Many of these dice alternatives are too gimmicky, but this one is the furthest from that. My only real complaint is that the velvet-like pouch was not very well made and the seam came apart before I could even put the spinner inside. Since I had plenty of pouches, I don't care. I am looking at the leather travel holder, but it is currently not able to be individually purchased on Amazon.

Solid and smooth. Not quite perfect, but impressive!
The media could not be loaded. I was impressed when this arrived, as it was larger and more solid and hefty than I expected! The custom-cut foam insert for the box was a nice touch, as was the bonus drawstring storage bag. But even without those the device is eye-grabbing and a pleasure to hold and use.The mechanism is quite smooth, and spins easily yet also comes to a stop quickly. They really got this part right! See my video clip for an example.Fancy dice are all the rage these days, but they are all so difficult to read! This device doesn't have that problem at all (though I worry the gold colored one might be a bit tough to view, as there isn't much contrast on that one).I think my only nit-pick about this spinner is that I can't quite figure out the best way to hold it. It's a bit awkward to spin one-handed if you want to keep the window numbers upright to read; the hand and thumb just don't move in the right way to make this orientation comfortable. See my video clip for some examples of what I mean. You almost need to keep the device on a table, or use both hands to spin it, which isn't great. If you want to use it one-handed off of the table, you may need to have it turned to the side so that the window isn't viewed straight-on. I feel this is an oversight that just one step of a prototype should have discovered was a problem and could have easily fixed.I feel a bit bad knocking off a whole star, but this really is kind of annoying. Part of the whole idea of this device is that it can be a quick, simple, and easy way to replace a bunch of dice. But it's awkward to use in an upright orientation, and if you use it in the most comfortable manner then the window is turned sideways. In addition, the price is a tad high. If this was $40 I would say it's an instant buy for nearly any TTRPG player, but at $60 you'd have to either really like the design and idea or know that the person you're getting it for is really into nifty gadgets like this. Finally, despite how well this thing is put together and the overall quality, personally I find rolling actual dice to be much more satisfying. But if all you want is a quick random number generator, this should do nicely. And it's pretty swanky, too.Oh, the little gemstones... they look kinda cheap. I guess they're a nice accent, and they seem to be solidly set into the device...but I could have done without them. This review is a bit all over the place, but ultimately I think this is a solid product that will please a lot of people. It's high quality, sturdy, spins very nicely, and would make an impressive gift or cool personal tool. I think the design could be slightly improved upon though to make it easier to use one-handed, and it's a tad expensive, but these are minor issues and I'm probably being overly harsh. If you've read this far, you're probably interested enough in the device that I think you're likely to be satisfied once you get your own.

Good quality. Doesn’t spin great.
Good quality and decently heavy so not cheap quality that’ll break if dropped. But doesn’t spin loosely. Not a deal breaker but max spin is only 2 or so seconds. Doesn’t hold spin well but it does indeed spin and does the job.

This is one cool dice rolling device!
I was a little skeptical but it actually works really well. I've tried it quite a bit, taking note of the apparent randomness. I don't find any fault with it's randomization. One significant factor, I believe, is that the numbers on the various tracks are not in sequence. In other words, the d4 doesn't read 1-2-3-4, going around. Instead it is 1-3-2-4. Of course, as you get into more sides, there's more differentiation. For example, the number 20 on the "d20" is flanked by 8 and 2.I've found the best way of getting the disk spinning is to run it along my desk pad for about 12 inches then check the results. I've also found that running it multiple times on a "grabby" surface, like my arm or leg works well as well. I haven't noticed any significant difference between spinning vertical vs. horizontal. I think the disc is pretty well balanced that way. This is a really unique way of rolling dice, and it works really well. The streampunk looks great, but I'm hoping a "Cthulhu" version will be following.

Pretty cool quasi-die
This thing is just beautiful, and pretty cool in terms of a d4 through d20 replacement. I certainly wouldn't use it all the time, but it's pretty cool to have around for here or there, or if you don't have your dice on you.It has a really good weight to it, and spins easily. The numbers as well as the design is well raised so that it all stands out really well.If I had one complaint it would be that after spinning the wheel doesn't really stop and lock in, so if you're spinning you sort of have to stop it with your hand yourself to keep things fair. If you're moving it around after you spin it the number could always change, so you just have to be fair about it.

Hefty weight. Good spin amount. Very legible.
For some of these spinning "roulette" dice, the spin time can be not enough or far too much. I get about 1.5-2 full spins and that is just right.Fits in my palm perfectly. Has a good weight to be very appealing and give a sense of value. The color I got was for the legibility, and in such I have far less problems than some comparable products have given me. I generally can see exactly the value it lands on with the staggered and boxed numbers; VERY nice.Visually distinct, and will it is a luxury item, if you need multiple types of dice, it is a fun option for the flair.
