This model does not ship with a stand!!! Wall mount only. Maybe I misread it I. The description…ok. But don’t buy this if wall mount is not an option!!!

The top half of the TV's home screen is wasted and unused (except for ads, of course). Rather than putting the apps there, they are put in a row below it, so you can't even see which apps you have unless you scroll far to the right. Trying to reorganize them in the order you want is a nightmare. The remote is not backlit, rendering it totally worthless in a dark room. There is no mute button. Are you kidding me? The only way to mute the TV is to hold the volume lever down until it goes quiet, but then there is no way to unmute it and have it return to the original volume. The "magic pointer" never points where you want, and the cursor annoyingly appears in the worst possible places at the worst possible times. The central disc is a horrible design. Try to press "up" and it might go left or right instead. Try to press "left" and it might go up or down instead. The scroll wheel is more horrible design. Try to press it for "okay" and it might go up or down instead. I have contacted LG support 3 days ago but they have not responded yet.

Warning. Do not buy this tv. They refuse to warrant a broken tv after 90 days. You stay on phone for one hour and they claim it will be handled but nothing happens. You are out of 3000 dollars after taxes paid. I have been waiting for over a month. I want a full refund and to buy from a reputable manufacturer. They can look up my serial number to prove this is a real posting. I now have to go to court to get a new tv. Serial number 507RMHR0C809. UPDATE: Please note that after posting this review within 24 hours they are now servicing my repair request. Repairs can be challenging with this TV and you may not have a working tv for a long period of time.

Product arrived dead on arrival, tv won’t turn on, . Troubleshooted with LG, confirmed defective unit. Amazon customer support only wants to give me a refund because the cost is $400 higher than the price I paid during Black Friday sale, super disappointed by the quality of the product and Amazon customer service.

Buyer beware: This item comes with NO STAND - only wall bracket. Good luck finding this info on page 5 of the description:(

UPDATE 5/28/2025 ISSUES ARE STILL NOT FIXED! OVER ONE MONTH LATER! DESPICABLE LG! THEY HAVE NOT CALLED ME BACK AFTER SERVICE COMPLAINT EITHER! STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU LIKE QUALITY AND REFERENCE SETTINGS! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Don't buy until issues are resolved. I'm super bummed. I was really excited to upgrade from a 77G1 to this panel but it still had so many issues I'll have to return if they don't fix. They pushed out a firmware update that improved Dolby Vision near black posterization and color banding but they have not fixed the same issue on HDR10. It looks like total slop near black on any HDR10 content. Streamed or physical. Especially compared to my previous 77G1 and 77C9 and 55E6. Generations older, and this is worse. Does not provide a proper support for a base stand. LG’s solution (which needs to be purchased separately, thus increasing costs) provides a significant tilt angle that considerably affects viewing angle. Extremely poor customer support once surfaced it and left with no options but to return the TV. This is only meant to be wall mounted, and the product doesn’t specify it.

Just posting this so others don't buy it and find out it is only wall mount when they unbox it at home... Kind of irritated that it does not plainly state it in the product description. One star for the annoyance of dealing with this after the fact...
