This 4-person instant cabin tent exceeded my expectations! As someone who camps regularly but doesn’t love spending a ton of time setting up, this tent was a total game-changer. Pros: • Instant setup: True to its name, it took under 2 minutes to set up from start to finish. The pre-attached poles make everything super simple—even doable solo. • Spacious interior: Easily fits a queen-size air mattress with room left for gear. The ceiling height is great too—you can actually stand up and move around comfortably. • Weather resistant: We got hit with a surprise rainstorm and stayed completely dry. The seams are well-sealed and the rainfly did its job perfectly. • Great ventilation: Multiple windows and a large door allow for great airflow. No condensation issues even on a humid night. • Durable materials: The fabric and zippers feel sturdy and built to last. Cons: • Bulky packed size: It’s not super compact when folded up, but that’s expected for a cabin-style tent with built-in poles. • Best for car camping: Not ideal for backpacking due to size and weight, but perfect for drive-up campsites or festivals. Overall, this tent is perfect for small families, couples, or solo campers who want quick setup and reliable comfort. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hassle-free camping experience

IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. That being said, it takes like 2 minutes to set up and breakdown, ideal for hot weather and ZERO RAIN. Cold temp might also be okay. It was quite sealed when mesh was closed. AGAIN NOT WATERPROOF. It looses two stars because it advertises waterproof and it also happened to rain when I set it up. It was pool of water inside basically.

I have been searching for awhile for a tent to do solo camping in. Naturehike has had my attention through all their positive reviews online. I went with the cape 4 after hearing how great the cape 6 is, and as a solo camper I figured the 4 would be plenty big enough. First of all, i was VERY happy with the tent coming in an oversized bag. I do not want to have to stuff a tent back in a bag that is too tight for it, but the bag it comes in has plenty of extra room as seen in my pictures. The installation process, even for being my first time was very easy. Though the instructions were a bit simplified, we easily figured things out on our own (my wife helped me.) For being my first time, the setup process was still under 5 minutes, and if you have 2 people the tent can be raised in less than a minute and full installed in probably 2-3 minutes. One thing i was concerned about was stitching on the threads, however as can be seen in my pictures the threads look great. No loose threads. The zippers were all nice and secure as well. When i got inside the ventilation is nice as it can be opened up to mesh on all sides, however it can still get fairly warm inside if the sun is beating in. One thing that could be improved is the stakes. They work fine, however they are not as high quality as the stakes on the cape 6 and cape 8 from what ive seen in other reviews. Overall I'm beyond impressed with this tent and I'm so excited to begin my solo camping journey!

Love the tent, would give it 5 stars if there wasn't one thing that could have been designed better. There is nothing to cover the window in the door unless you do not have the vestibule up. This means that if you use the poles to put up the front cover like in the photo, then there is no way to cover the door window for privacy when you are changing or if you want it covered at night or when you are gone from the campsite. Other than that the tent was quick to set up and is a good size.

Took this tent camping with my girlfriend and it was perfect for the two of us. Setup was insanely easy — maybe a minute and a half tops. Way better than dealing with those annoying poles you have to slide through. We fit a camping mattress in there and still had space for our bags. It rained a little one night and we stayed dry, just a bit of dampness on the sides but nothing major. Take down was just as quick as setup.
