If you’re on the fence about getting the Thrival you totally should go for it! It has changed the game of stretching and relief. I’ve had hip pain for months after running and during. *Edit- after 2 weeks of using this, I find it’s been very helpful. It’s useful for different hip & thigh muscles that are hard to reach, and very helpful for tense calves. Glad I went ahead and got this.Original review: I just got this yesterday and tried it last night. My hip has felt tight and has ached for a year or so. That’s my fault for not exercising and stretching as much, but once that problem happens, it’s not easy to address. This works to help release the iliacus muscle and seems to have a very positive effect on other muscles that are affected by it. I already feel much less tension and pain.This is easy to assemble, disassemble and pack when traveling.The meat grinder and other attachments are a super hard plastic . I didn’t know there were soft covers available, but there are. Since I didn’t purchase them, I doubled a blanket and draped it over the whole thing to soften the pressure. Even with that, it was a lot of pressure, and I feel bruised today. BUT we all know getting to tight muscles like this is going to involve discomfort, so that was no surprise. The takeaway for me is that it seems to help considerably with hip area tension- it’s similar to a deep tissue massage- it may hurt pr be uncomfortable at the time, but it help considerably, so I do it. I’ll continue using this . Curious to know if the soft covers make much difference.Also curious to know if the Aletha hip hook is any more comfortable. Excellent tool for locating pain points. You can adjust the width to ensure you locat the appropriate muscle spots that are causing problems. In addition the videos available help to located muscle groups and create an exercise plan that facilitates improvement. I am recovering from hip surgery and was in excruciating pain. My therapist encouraged me to use this tool daily to release the right muscles and relax the nerves. Takes a few tries to get used to but the relief I feel has made it so worth the effort.

Versatile product that is well worth the investment! I have had it for only 2 days and already feel like it’s made a positive impact on my mobility. Would definitely recommend the rubber covers for added comfort. Impressed by the ease with which the positioning can be adjusted and the options for making it fit any body.

I was very excited to receive this. Shipping took longer than expected. I think it was shipped direct from Thrival by the box and not an Amazon box. The pieces are extremely hard, sturdy plastic and bigger than I was expecting. In all the photos it shows silicone tops, But what actually arrives is extremely hard black plastic pieces . I also think the neck piece should be included since it’s pictured in many places. But it is not, apparently you have to go to their website to buy the neck piece and the silicone tops. This will more than double the price of it. The idea of this is good, I think it does help, but it is so darn uncomfortable to position yourself on these really really hard thick pieces. I think it is misrepresentation that they do not include the silicone tops with them. I am still deciding if I am going to send it back or not. The idea is great, and I think it will help pressure points. It already has the few times I’ve used it, but it also leaves you very bruised and sore because it is so hard.

I suffer from sciatic nerve pain , tight hips and back. I had a l4 l5 s1 fusion with titanium hardware. I purchased it and couldnt wait to try it and it definitely works looses up my iliacus.
