SodaStream Sparkling Drink, Dr Pete, 440ml Pack of 4

It's no Dr. Pepper clone but it tastes different than cola, so I like it. However, the bottle that the syrup is shipped in is prone to leakage. Even though the bottles weren't broken, the syrup can leak out through the lid and safety seal if the bottles are turned upside-down or tossed around. I ordered the 4 pack and when they arrived, both the inner box and outer box were covered in leaking syrup. I tried washing the bottles off but the syrup continued to ooze out from under the label and lid so I had to remove the labels from the bottles.

I mean I’d give it 5 stars for sure. It tastes like Dr. Pepper and I’m an avid fan since forever and a day. But perhaps this bottling need better packaging? Are the the packagers doing this incorrectly? It’s sticky, becomes harder to open and messy when I attempt to open the plastic wrap. Which is an inconvenience. Out of the 4 that comes in each box, two have leaks. Regardless I enjoy this flavor. Hope the company can create better seals.

We like this product but we have been getting it for a few months now and it always arrived with a leaky bottle so they are all sticky. Today's delivery was so bad I think the whole bottle leaked and my porch had schmutz all over it. The refund process was easy, but other similar products don't have this issue, just this brand. Otherwise it tastes like Shasta Dr pepper and satisfies the DP craving, its just frustrating to have to wipe down every bottle and question how much product was lost to the cardboard.
