Was looking for a good strong an durable safe for home documents. This is perfect. It's not too small and you have the option of using a key or putting in a pin pass code. It also comes with screws so you can attach to your wall or your floor or both. Very impressed with this safe and extremely happy. This is a very good product

Do not purchase this safe!!!! I used it for 3 months but now I cannot open it with the digital keypad or the emergency key. The product support is just online question and answers and did not solve the problem. I contacted Amazon and they cannot contact the manufacturer either. I took it to a locksmith, and he could not open it either. I now have important papers that I cannot get to.

The instructions are unclear, but with the info on Amazon, I figured it out. CAUTION the key\ battery plate on the 5 cubic foot safe does not slide as the instructions state, it pops off, (pull it out!!!!!!). Once it's set up I like it.

It’s a great safe! It’s a beast! It stores lots of stuff if that’s what you’re looking for. I can fit a small plastic case, some letters and envelopes,etc! Fairly easy to open- I use the manual way with the key, not a battery although the choice is yours. It’s fairly heavy- about 6- 8 pounds.

It's just the right size for the thing I needed to keep locked up. Is it really fireproof? Waterproof? No idea. I hope I never find out. Can a determined, experienced safe cracker get into it? I imagine so. Can the average smash-and-grab B&E perp get into it? Probably not easily. It has a couple of holes in the back and a couple in the bottom so you can bolt it to the wall and/or floor, and bolts are provided, so it can't easily be carried away and opened elsewhere either. The door seems plenty heavy-duty to protect my protectables. The sides are more like a triple thick file cabinet material. Since I'm not expecting Ocean's 11 at my house, that's good enough for my needs. I'm more concerned with preventing kids from hurting themselves with the contents. The code was very easy to set, the latch is smooth and the door opens easily when unlocked. The light doesn't do much good. The three shelves are removable. If you need to protect your gold bars from Danny Ocean, get a proper vault. If you want to keep kids away from dangerous items and important documents, this safe seems like a good choice at a good price. I'm very happy with mine
