Its Apple after all, quality is always top notch even if a bit pricey. I was a Windows user working with multiple monitors for software development work, and needed a machine that could connect to 3 monitors together. Came across Macbook and Mac Mini, and found that Mac Mini with the latest 2024 M4 chip costs almost half of Macbook with the same chip. Best software upgrade I've had in years! There is minimal heating after 8+ hours of daily use (bought a cooling pad to place it on, just to be safe) Every operation is lightning fast, be it IDEs, browser windows or developer tools. Android Studio works like a breeze. Video playback is smooth. The compact size makes it fit just about anywhere. In-built speakers have decent quality and loud enough volume for normal usage like watching tutorials / podcasts. Storage might be a bit of an issue for people with large data requirements, since after installing all the apps I require there is about 125Gb space (in this 256Gb model) left on the internal storage, but that can be easily extended with external 1-2Tb hard drives. Overall, do not overthink and go for it!

Probably my best purchase of the year. Works out of the box. Extremely value for money for the specs provided. Size is small and compact and doesn't take up space on your desk. Super easy to use, and all peripherals and accessories work without much configuration. The sound from the inbuilt speakers are good, but a soundbar is recommended for any content-watching. There is no heat generated unless you perform heavy tasks like gaming (lol) or video editing.

After a lot of consideration I decided to upgrade from my MacBook Pro 256GB 2019 model which uses Intel Processor to this Mac Mini M4 256GB and I must say this beautiful tiny machine exceeded my expectations in all the categories. 16 gigs of Unified memory with 10 core CPU and 10 core GPU does wonders, instantly I noticed that its pretty fast compared to my MacBook Pro and handles multiples tasks or apps in a fly. I am a professional editor and a software developer and I use Final Cut Pro and other editing softwares which demand heavy performance and this Mac mini makes it an easy task. After using it for 20 days straight, for min 8 hours each day my opinion is as follows: 1.Has all the necessary ports through which you can connect multiple devices, transferring data is quite fast, you have to have a hub to connect SD cards etc 2.Size is compact and boots up in 2-3 seconds 3.Added speaker is a huge advantage, the quality and volume is decent enough for normal daily usage like watching YouTube videos and movies in a quiet room 4.Front ports and a headphone jack makes our work much easier 5.Handles heavy apps and multiple browser tabs at the same time like a Pro-a multitasking King 6.The power button is located at bottom, many people complained about this , but for me it's not an issue the device is very light, can lift and press it easily 7.Even while rendering heavy edited videos, never noticed the fan turning on once! 8.No heating issues - the device stays cool all the time 9.Storage is decent, if you need more just get a reliable 2TB HDD(costs. 6K-7k) will update my review if any issues pop up. If you are someone who loves the apple ecosystem(or like stuck in it as some people say ;)) and looking for a great workflow with high performance - then have no second thoughts! Worth every penny. Really amazing processing speed and very user friendly OS. I have recently shifted from Windows to Apple OS and it’s quite amazing to be honest. Very minimalistic design and its ecosystem is quite an interesting thing. My IPad, iPhone are interconnected and easily accessible from my Mac MINI. There are no usb ports to connect your keyboard and mouse, but you can buy C type to USB converter or an entire Bluetooth enabled keyboard. Logitech pebble keyboard and mouse combo is quite a good setup for the Mac MINI. Can support 4K at 60Hz and comes with HDR option too. And many customisable options for screen contrast and all. Must buy.

Great powerhouse. Enough ports . USB type A would be great but sadly it's not available. Built in speakers are great considering the size . Would love if there will be some more storage space would be available and pocket friendly. Talking about the controversial power button i personally don't feel much of a problem out of it as you are not going to use it during workflow. And being so lightweight it's easily accessible.

If anyone is looking to buy a desktop computer, Mac mini M4 is the model to go for. Comes with many years of software updates and excellent performance. Buying a monitor, keyboard and a mouse adds to the cost, but still worth buying. It is also important to note that the monitor should be 4K to get the best picture from the Mac mini. A good 4K monitor will be upwards of 22000 Rs. Logitech wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse will cost around 13000 Rs. Please keep these costs in mind too. Overall worth spending the money for years of trouble free experience.

A best machine for IOS developers, its affordable compared to buying a iMac or Mac laptops. Always better than a Windows PC. Very easy to use, keyboard mouse connect bluetooth without any hassle. Its very compact and looks great. Has all lot of Type C ports. HDMI port. Just plugin and starting using it.

One of best products to add to your tech stack, it is small and portable comes with lot of feature. Works on any resolution monitors although 4k is recommended. Sound quality is good for the price. Display is crisp. Power consumption is also moderate (150w) peak.
