Great heater which will save money and energy.
After opening the wall panel heater I experienced a strong pungent smell. I quickly took it out side to finish opening and left the panel in the sun to air out and all the packaging. Five hours later the smell wasn’t to bad and started installing it in my room. Pretty simple to install and really good instructions. I waited until the next morning to test it. The thermostat worked good and started heating up quickly. It took 50 minutes for the room to heat 1 degree. Lots of heat. I think this unit will save me money. It blends in with the wall and I’m planning on painting the panel to match the other walls. I think it will give me a nice even heat with no noise or air and dust movement. Make sure you dispose of the box and packaging materials as soon as possible because of the smell.

Worth every penny!
Seriously a fantastic purchase! If you want something that is going to help supplement your existing heat source then look no further. I have an older home that isn’t very well insulated. I did have it properly insulated, but it isn’t perfect and for years our upstairs would be at least 10 degrees colder in winter. If we ran our heat to get the upstairs to a comfortable temp then downstairs would be almost 80 degrees and that was unacceptable. These wall heaters were the perfect solution. I placed them on the wall directly across from my forced hot water radiators. They come with the thermometer and that “works” and does it’s job. My only issue was the outlet is directly below the wall heater itself so once the thermometer hit 68 degrees it shut it off and the rest of the room wasn’t all the heated. I tried the wireless app controlled thermometer and that was complete garbage. Do not get that. My solution was simple. These wall heaters are really efficient and do not draw to much power so since my home is HomeKit enabled I connected the heater to a Meross Smart plug and that supports up to 15a 1800w so it is more than capable to handle the light load of the heater. I than placed an Eve Weather in both rooms and linked them to automations for when to turn on and off. The rooms and our upstairs are now within 1 or 2 degrees from our downstairs! The heaters output a fantastic amount of heat and absolutely get the job done. Love them and highly recommend them. As for the smell people in other reviews complain about. Yes, at first there is a hot ceramic smell from them. When I first got them I placed them on the floor in my basement and cranked them on high for about 8hrs a day for a week to draw out the smell. After I installed them there still was a little odor, but after a week of use the smell is completely gone. When you first get them definitely draw the smell out in your garage or something first.

Toxic smell I believe
It heats well but I noticed I’m getting a headache when I’m around it and my dog starts coughing around it. I really wanted to love it and was hoping I could get more of them but toxins can not be tolerated. Too late for me to return. Yes it smells in the beginning when you turn it on and it cracked soon after I turned it on the first time

Seems to work
It was easy to install, but I do believe the company needs to update their installation video - it has conflicting information and no reasoning as to why the written instructions are different (upgraded?). The video shows the heater installed above an outlet (the instructions say no). Somewhere it says at least 4 inches above the floor, but when you ask them directly, they claim 12 - 18 inches above the floor. Some models have a heat guard and some do not, is there a difference in the amount of heat the device will put out? I was told "no" but I read or saw somewhere that it will decrease the amount of heat. This company, so far, has good customer service. I have phoned and emailed and received responses right away. I am not certain why their heaters need to be so far up the wall, where others can be used lower? I know the optional stands for this heater are 12 inches where other similar heaters are half the size or less? Regarding the heat output - I have the 600 watt in an open Living room which has a hallway attached and a kitchen entrance. At a setting of 78 degrees, it kept the area at 61 degrees when the outside temperature was in the low 30's. They do recommend 2 heaters in open spaces. I don't mind the house in the low 60's and this was purchased as a possibility of switching from pellet stove to all electric heat. We would like to be able to go away for a long weekend, but need to have the stove tended. By having electric panels, we could feel confident that the pipes would not freeze in the winter. I have yet to test the heater below 32 degrees. I am planning to purchase at least one 400 watt for the kitchen and see how that works. Overall the panel did give heat, but I could easily see why you may need more than one. Keep in mind where you would place it prior to purchasing - the large 600 watt heater is 2' x 3' and can go on the wall in either direction - this large heater can not be used with the optional stand, so it must be mounted on the wall. I was told via telephone, that it cannot go above an outlet or below, it cannot go under a window, and it needs to be installed 12-18 inches above the floor. Sounds easy, but in my house I could really only find one spot in the living room. Also, the screws go very far into the wall - turn off electric power in that room in case you accidentally screw into a wire. The thermostat plug (included) takes up the entire outlet. If your home is like mine, I use every outlet in my house. I will ask the electrician to install a dedicated outlet. In the meantime I did purchase a heavy duty short extension cord meant for heaters and AC to use in the meantime. And yes it is true, the smell is awful - but it does go away. I opened the box outdoors, as suggested by others. I kept the heater in the garage for 3 weeks, with the window open. I then moved it into the enclosed porch for a week and eventually into the living room. When I first turned it on to test, it smelled. I turned it off after 30 minutes. The second time I turned it off after one hour. The third time the smell was gone. They claim you can paint it, but I wasn't certain where its home would be so I have not painted it yet. I would believe that painting it would get rid of the smell much quicker - use no voc paint only.

Did not make a difference
Where to commence is always a dilemma but let me initially bestow upon you some pertinent background information. As I have been relegated to the frosty corner of my garage for performing a multitude of my messy manly crafting and repair projects, I decided to spoil myself with a smidgen of creature comfort and procure a heater to enhance the environment of my efficient expanse. I mounted this heater in my insulated garage on the celling right above where I work, and it has yielded no noticeable improvement to my work area. Although the area in the garage I am attempting to heat has never been genuinely frigid, I was hoping that my appendages would not continue to become bluish grey nonfunctioning blobs with each extended work session and that I would no longer have to layer an assortment of pants, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and hats just to maintain a core temperature greater than 96 degrees. The installation process was difficult, as the template provided did not match exactly. This led to the first of many debacles, as there was no dearth of calamities. It was a pain to install in the celling, as the drywall hangers they provided are not amazingly effective and pulled right out, once I solved the template issue, and punctured the celling in four new locations. I am going to look for a different type of unit, for this product has provided me with not even a modicum of solace. I was not anticipating heaps of positive results, and I did not think that I needed a great deal, but this unit has proven that perhaps a bit more than nothing would be appealing. The only reason I have not sought to return this was the difficulty I had getting it mounted to the celling, and the dread in my heart as I considered taking it down and patching up the celling. Perhaps I can consider it a piece of art, a polar bear in a snowstorm, because it is better at that than providing warmth.

Good so far!
I like it! So far. I bought this for a bedroom located above the garage. Despite everything I’ve tried including insulating my garage door and re insulating my attic, this room remains freezing in the cooler months. Seriously like 54 degrees while the rest of the house is 68. I was desperate to find something low energy that would warm the room. The room is 143 sq ft/ I bought the 600w. When it arrived I was worried it was gigantic. But I installed it on an exterior wall and it’s doing great! The room is perfectly warm. It took a few days to figure out what to set the thermostat at… but it’s been great! I love that it silent. I also love that it’s not hot enough to burn you, so if a child touches it they won’t need to go to the hospital. It certainly hot but nothing crazy.

Awesome, simple to install, and SUPER EFFICIENT!
Simply awesome. Installed this on my home theater wall, and gave it a quick coat of Behr Marquee indoor latex paint to match the wall and column, and it looks and works beautifully. Nice and warm, improved the temp in my theater by a few degrees per hour (took about 1.5 hours to bring the theater, normally 6 degrees colder than my main floor, up to main floor temps). I read a lot of commenters talk about the 'smell' that comes off it, and though I did notice a bit of a sort of hospital antiseptic smell the first few days, it was super mild and within a week was no longer detectable. I'm not sure if it was the paint that helped cover the smell or what, but it really wasn't an issue, I didnt need to put it outside or do any other off-gassing tricks or any of that nonsense. And the best part is the efficiency of this thing. I have used it for hours and hours of theater movie watching this past month, and my electric bill was only about ten bucks higher than normal. That is less than a third of what it used to cost me to run a different kind of wall mounted space heater, so that was a huge win. I will be purchasing two more of these in the near future, a second one for the theater to help raise the temp quicker, as I dont leave the heater on 24/7 and just click it on on movie nights, and one for my office, which still has a blower heater. Highly recommended!

Product is great customer service is non existent
I have 3 of these heaters and we love them. Helped cut way down on heating bill. After a year 1 of them went out and stopped working. Emailed customer service and they got back to me right away and asked for pictures. Sent pictures and they said no problem it's under warranty and they will send a new one right away. The all the emails seemed to turn automated. I had to give then my address 3 times. And everytime all I got back was an automated reply. It has been almost 3 months since staring the process and the last email I received that was not automated was that theyvwere sending the product that day which was over a month now.
