So I bought these to use for a furniture makeover. Backstory: I have two older Ikea Kallax units in black that I was repurposing from one room to another -- I needed to lighten them up a lot, because I was moving them from bedroom storage to living room storage, and my living room is not big. If I'd have left them black, they'd have shrunk the feel of the room and would look hideous. At first, I considered painting them, but that's messy, the weather is wet and rainy for long stretches, so spray painting outside was out -- no way I was building a tent big enough to contain the spray for something as large as an 8 cube kallax. I then considered wallpaper -- but cutting patterened wallpaper can be tricky for something like a kallax, because if you don't line it up right, it looks terrible. So then, I thought, what about a faux laminating job with peel and stick flooring?? I then set out to find the thinnest peel and stick floor tiles that I could that also came in a light enough color -- I found these, in the color "cotton". This color is basically a really nice warm light gray with darker tones mixed in. Yeah, painting would have cost less, but... the look I got with these is nothing short of stunning -- once I finish re-doing the rest of the room, it'll look amazing. These tiles were easy to cut, easy to stick -- and re-positionable. I laid these out on the frame of the kallax first. Sides, top, then cut them using my leather strap cutter into strips to cover the frame in the front (to do long, straight cuts down the length of a plank, a strap cutter makes fast easy work of it!). I left the back uncovered -- no one's going to see it. Once that was done, it was time to figure out what to do with the door and drawer faces I had on some of the cubes -- I decided to do a chevron pattern, and OMG, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out (see photos). I was able to cut these with my Silhouette die cutting machine into pieces custom designed to make the chevron pattern on the doors and drawer faces. Ratchet blade, longest blade depth (probably overkill), max pressure on the Cameo 3, speed of 2, single pass. Cut like butter and didn't kill the blade, either. The project has been finished for about a week and nothing is peeling off. I made sure to clean each surface carefully right before beginning to stick the tiles down, and the whole thing was easy peasy! I'd possibly consider this stuff for nice looking temporary flooring, too. Not sure how well it'd hold up to high foot traffic in the long term, but damn it looks pretty good right out of the box. I'll let my finished project photos speak for themselves, though. All in all, excellent product for a different purpose than intended!

I love absolutely love it! I spent $50 (sale). The hardest part of the installation was around the toilet. So I would start near that area if you are installing this in a bathroom. I ordered 36pcs and I think about 11 were left over. They come rolled up in a pack but once you unroll them and place somewhere heavy on top for an hour, it flattens out. Make sure to lay them out on the floor to see which way you like best before you install. The adhesion worked well. Before you do anything make sure the floors are swept, washed and dried. If the floors aren’t clean they will not stick. Anyone who complained about it not sticking, was probably because the surface wasn’t clean. They also specify what it will not stick to. They are thin but it won’t matter once it’s installed. We’re trying to sell our home so it definitely saved us from spending hundreds of dollars for new flooring. We are happy with the results and love the color and the way it looks. I would definitely purchase it again!

I got the cotton. It looks beautiful. It was very easy to put in. It was very easy to line up. It's staying very well. My toddlers have spilled thing all over it, and it comes clean so easy. I spilled paint and it came right off with a swiffer.
