I have the mini butter pot of this brand and like it very much and I use it multiple times a day to forth. I wanted to get the 3qt of the same brand. I read the negative reviews and decided to take the chance based on what I already knew and I have not been disappointed. 1st unless you have an Olga sized hand this handle is just fine and feels perfect. 2nd the spots on the bottom of the pot are water spots after washing it and it wipes right off with a dry towel. I fried some egg rolls in this pot today and it heat up very quickly I even had to lower the heat to get the 325 temp. So Yes very good pot I do recommend.

I have purchased several of these in different sizes through the many decades of cooking ( I am nearly 70 ) and I love the appearance, the heat distribution and how they last forever. Now I do all dishes by hand so I cannot say if they hold up in a dishwasher. I also like that they are a good weight for me...not so thin and light that they seem cheap but not too heavy for me either because I am very weak. I recommend all Farberware classic saucepans.

I purchased two of these pots back in October 2025. I had an issue with the Saucepan Lid knob coming off and was unable to screw the knob onto the lid. I believed the knob was stripped and would not stay on the lid. I filed a claim and the seller sent me a new Saucepan with Lid. The product is outstanding, and the quality is amazing; I have 2 of these exact same Saucepan with Lids that were purchased 35 plus years ago. Extremely good value without the high cost. 100% recommended.

Have always been happy with Farberware pots and this was a size I didn’t have. They’re sturdy and heat very well on gas or electric ranges (all I’ve ever had). A breeze to clean, just soak a bit in hot water for sticky things like oatmeal. You can put in dish washer and I do occasionally, but if you use a high heat dry cycle, the knobs and handles might fade a bit. I’ve been eliminating all teflon cooking pots and pans and these are affordable and great quality.

I have used Farberware cookware since I was a child growing up, and I continue to use it now it my own apartment. Farberware has maintained its quality over the decades. It is resistant to scratching and burning. It is constructed for even heat distribution, and it cooks food evenly. Fiid does not stick. It is easy to clean, and it is very difficult to scratch even if you scrub at it with the scrubby side of a sponge. It is strong, and will be nearly impossible to dent.

I ordered this pot because as a senior citizen I was looking for a pot with specific features. The handle doesn’t get hot and is designed for easy carrying. The pot is a good thickness and very sturdy, but not overly heavy. The pot is high , rather than wide, so water doesn’t boil over . There is a warranty and this brand is known for it’s quality. The price is well worth the value.
